I am not “weaseling out“ of anything. Actually I “went on record” stating that there is no amount of “gun crime” which would justify repeal of the 2A. Your creation of different hypothetical fantasies will not alter my opinion on that matter. The 2A is not, or ever was, the right to shoot (or shoot at) anyone - pretending otherwise is simply dishonest partisan nonsense.

Correct. What you're saying is that is that if 50 million American school kids were gunned down per year you wouldn't budge.

Money can buy the bravest and most trained and qualified. It just takes screening.

Get your ego out of the way for a minute and you might find I'm not wrong about everything.

OK, but that is obviously not a majority opinion. Folks are certainly free not to accept (or remain in) a job which they don’t feel pays them adequately.

How many annual stabbing deaths would it take for you to ban knives or require government permission to possess knives?

Let's get rid of all those positions and corporate execs and see who's the most missed. Most of these big corporations run themselves.

After the next person is put into the role of the business leader.

One of our clients is huge. They lost their CEO a long time ago and for whatever reason the board wouldn't act quickly. So all of the VP's immediately went into business warfare mode. It was a disaster. They all wanted to be the boss.

I have stated clearly that criminal abuse of X is not a valid reason to ban or heavily restrict X possession. See post #464.

Right. But I don't see Caught is arguing for a ban. More like, at least as the words seem to me, peeling the paint off the underlying rust.

He/she obviously wants to eliminate the right of the people to keep and bear arms. There is no other reason to advocate repeal of the 2A based on “gun crime” statistics.
