Ahh... "studying" to convince yourself that absolutely crystal clear text means something other than what it says.
The key to 7:1 is 7:2. It's a side effect of splitting text into verses. They weren't written with numbers and should't be interpreted as if a verse is a stand alone thing.
Read as a whole, the paragraph is about the danger of hypocrisy. ie God will judge you with the same measure you use to Judge others. So it's not a good idea to go around suggesting that people are going to end up in hell unless you're looking to join them.
Using your "biblical logic" (which BTW is like believing in Santa Claus), Trump would be in the same boat:
What would be a good start would be to stop accusing everybody you disagree with of being racist, misogynist, homophobic, xenophobic, transphobic, Islamophobic, etc. etc. etc. etc.
Also, stop acting like women and minorities are so "victimized" and "down-trodden"...
Not directly. Limited number of poll options. However 3rd party would fit that most closely- and creating an entirely new government given our enemies on the world stage could be disastrous.
It's the Bible itself which says people who fail to repent, etc., will wind up in Hell (Luke 13:3, Revelation 21:8, etc., etc.)
I see you pointing a very large finger at the media. What is that makes the media good? If the president is a complete piece of **** and the media calls him out on it and reports negatively on a ****ty person is that really them being dishonest? Isn't it useful for the media to report regardless of how it makes politicians look and not just repeat what they are told to say? The office of the president should never control the media. The media should not fear the government - the government should fear the media. You speak to bad, hateful, and destructive behavior being universally condemned however you seem to be condemning only those who speak ill of Trump - yet ignoring those in political positions who are performing the behaviors that are being reported on.
You sold out your faith so using the bible to make a point doesn't work anymore.
We don't need to come together. The right pulls us into darkness and then wants to call it good, sorry no. It's like a battered spouse having their life ruined and then getting back together because they say we both made mistakes and it will be better now. Anyone dumb enough to take the bait deserves what happens again. Neo Nazi Arthur Jones received 25 percent of the vote in Illinois. The myth these kinds of people are rare is just that.
Strawman Fallacy. That wasn't my position... I've never advocated for ignoring those things.Ignoring racism and bigotry
Strawman Fallacy... That wasn't my position... Anyone can be a victim.and making it so that women and minorities can't be victims
It's not my option; it is your Strawman of my position.........somehow I don't think that option is a solution.

Part of the job of an elected official in all western democracies is to deal with the media, which sometimes can be hostile. And the job also requires dealing with opposition, which is often hostile. This hostility helps make democracy work. And there are good ways and there are bad ways to deal with this hostility.
The current president seems to think that he is above these hostile forces, for which every other elected official has had to deal with in their political careers. And unfortunately, much of his base seems to think so as well. I suspect 10% of Americans would prefer a Trump monarchy than a democratic nation. Scary.
We are a divided nation right now. What needs to happen in order for the US to come together?
We are NOT a Democracy; we are a Federated Republic.
We operate under a Constitution, which makes us a Republic, and we do this at several different levels (layers) of government... That makes us a Federated Republic.
The USA does not operate under mob rule. It operates under a Constitution.
It's the Bible itself which says people who fail to repent, etc., will wind up in Hell (Luke 13:3, Revelation 21:8, etc., etc.)
We do not operate under a constitution any longer. We just pretend to.

Matthew 23:
23 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and [v]cummin, and have neglected the weightier provisions of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others. You blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel! “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside they are full of robbery and self-indulgence. You blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and of the dish, so that the outside of it may become clean also. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. So you, too, outwardly appear righteous to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.
Nope, no mention of hell...the lake of fire destroys hell and anything else thrown into it...eternal destruction...you really should stop lying to everyone or you may end up there yourself...
"I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."
"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."
That's another one of your Jehovah's Witnesses revisions.

Job 15:Sure, Mithros - anyone who doesn't agree with your left-wing nonsense is a hypocrite and a pharisee.
Nice try.
So what? Michele baby will join him there if she doesn't forgive.
How do we come together
You don't need a plan - just a promise. Then if you don't do it - blame the other guy. This is America no matter what you say half the country will believe you.
None of the above.
My answer is two-part:
1. The media...especially the so-called news organization...need to end their constant attacks on the President. They need to get back to the journalistic professionalism they once had.
2. The Democrats need to end their constant attacks on the President.
If those two things would happen, the President would be happy to sit down, work together with everyone in Congress and negotiate mutually beneficial courses of action. The useful idiots who listen to the media and the Democrats would fall in line.
