I live in Hattis County Texas and have three boxes of 9mm ammo to get rid of. Any suggestions?

Define boxes. You mean 150 rounds or 3,000?

Gunbroker, pawn shop.

What does the geography have to do with the question?

Is the ammo past date?

Go to the nearest shooting range! If you do not have a 9mm, someone will likely take it off your hands.
Alternatively, vacuum seal it, and put it in your attic, if society ever collapses, they will be good trade items!:D

150 rounds? I don't know, maybe 15 minutes at the range?
Now you are thinking.

You want to know what happens when you forget and leave rounds in your pocket that go into the washer/drier? A very angry wife. :devilish:
clank! clank! clank!

If I wanted to fire them off I would

Just take it to a pawn shop if you care. You're talking about $36 new so won't get much.

Frankly just give it to a friend.
Already gave her three boxes super cheap.

Harris County will not
So you're in Harris county there's quite a few gun ranges in Harris county and just outside of Harris county take it to any of them and just give it to somebody it's not going to be refused. That is if you don't want to shoot it or talk to friends or family that have 9 mm they'll take it off your hands

Call your local county sheriffs office or drop by there and give them the ammo to dispose of.

You could try.
I doubt if a gun store would buy them but never hurts to ask.

Maybe a gun range would - I don't know as I've never sold ammunition, but I'm not aware of any regulations regarding sell to a gun store or range.

If someone offers me ammo at the range, I would probably refuse. How do I know that they are not crappy reloads? Could be double charged, squibs, etc. Headstamp means nothing.

I don’t expect that FFLs and ranges would buy ammo because they also have no way to ensure that it is factory or reloads. Liability.

Why don’t you want to go to the range and have some fun?
