I agree, but tacitly. Sometimes, I just take the same side, but provide different reasoning, other times, using the reasoning, but adding on a qualifier. I agree for the most part, but I also feel that modifications are necessary and thus still agree, but need to add or subtract subpoints.

That was an error posted part of the poll. I do not agree that much and think that anyone that does is not thinking on their own or viewing only one media outlet or was trapped in a cave long time with Elenor Clift or ann Colture.

As my name suggests, I am a mid-righter, I don't agree with some of the censorship issues that are brought about from my side, however, I believe fully in monetary freedom, naturally, direct threats to the economy should be dealt with which is why we have the SEC.
For the most part, I think for myself and one problem I have is that the republican party is currently not practicing what we preach about fiscal responsibility.

Indeed. What can we do to keep their feet to the fire yet retain the majority?

I'm not a Republican or Democrat, so how do I vote? Democrats are not that liberal in European eyes.

Did you know that President Chirac is a conservative? lol

I am not a democrat or a republican either. I cant really find a major difference between the two. But yes, I would say that I believe in at least 90% of the things my future party advocates (see sig). I think that the democrats and republicans are just moving further and further to the right. Anyone who is truely a liberal should look into joining the green party at least. We are divided between two political parties who are almost exactly the same. But you should agree with your party, if you dont, you probably dont belong in that party.

I agree with teacher. Anyone who agrees 90 percent of the time isn't informed. I think to favor one party or another you have to agree 60 to 70 percent, otherwise you are an independent and don't care who wins.

"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But under the name of Liberalism, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program until one day America will be a socialist nation without knowing how it happened."

-- Norman Thomas, perennial presidential candidate, director/president of the Socialist Party of America.

When asked if he'd run for president again in 1952, he said: "I have no further need to run. The Democrats have adopted my entire platform."

So true, and the Democrats can say that about the Republicans. President Bush took all the wind out of their sails. It is unfortunate for the country as a whole that we have moved so far to the left.

What is in the water up in Maine? Too far to the left? You're saying that the Congress, Executive branch and Judicial branch are too liberal or liberal?

Either way that is one scary belief you have there. Exactly who are these madly liberal Republicans, please name them for us?

And better yet, your basis for this comment. Let's see, what principles are we adopting now that we weren't before? What beliefs are being instilled into us that are liberal?

And better yet, how when the conservatives control everything we are becoming liberal? Crazy talk.

I didn't use the word Liberal anywhere. If you look at the legislation that has been passed President Bush adopted many of the things on the Democrat platform. The Democrats moved further to the left to distinguish themselves from Bush. The total result is both parties moved to the left. That is why Conservatives are a disgruntled group. As liberals you fail to see the shift, but it is very evident.
