I didn't vote this year. Thought about going out and voting on ballot issues, but all we had were revising the wording on some oaths of office, and changing how petition votes were tallied.

Figured my time would be better spent on firewatch here.

Yeah same here. If Obama was white I would be very sure he would be elected. But he is black and there is always a bit of doubt in my mind. I'm jealous:
1. I will never get to vote for this man.
2. America will be the first western country to elect a minority rather than us Europeans. Finally all those white middle aged Americans that told the world that anyone can become President of the US, could be actually right.
