What have Democrats done during this pandemic, that indicates they would be the better party to deal with it in the future?

I know one celebrity Dem who claimed a Dem president would never have let it happen, but she gave no details.

They didn't pretend it doesn't exist. Low bar? Yes, but that's the bar Republicans have set.

You completely missed a more relevant option. Democrats pushed listening to Scientists, Medical Professionals, and experts in the field, rather than listening to one individual try to preach his own non-expert, personal vision of how things should be handled (against the advice of such experts). Part of that entailed social distancing, wearing masks, and minimizing exposure.

Wanna hear about low bars? We can give Trump a tiny bit of credit for finally admitting that the pandemic will get worse before it gets better. Not that it's his fault that this the case in the end of July, not that, but that it will.

A gnat would have trouble with a limbo competition.

It took him six months to figure out that ignoring the pandemic was bad for his re-election effort.

Let me underscore this point: we now know it takes him six months to absorb new information.

And he's the President.

They have spent every waking minute of every day explaining how badly Trump has performed. The best way to fix a problem is ALWAYS to point out how badly your political opponent has done. Solutions are for amateurs, blaming other people is where the real professionals shine.

Oh goody, I can't wait for Republicans to unveil these solutions. By the way, how many times has Trump blamed governors and China? If you answered "All the ****ing time," then congratulations! You're still sane.

He isn't the political opponent, he is the President. About timing he start seriously looking into it.

True, hence why trump blames everyone else and takes no responsibility, a real professional con artist.

That's exactly what the Republican party does too. So it must be a decent strategy considering that it's used by both parties.

Hey the clock is ticking down, he said within 2 weeks he would have a solution to DACA and a replacement for ACA, I cant wait to see his solutions.

They're tremendous. People are saying that. Everywhere i go, people say to me "The Republicans have a tremendous plan" Far better than anything Pocahontas would come up with. Lock her up!

Obviously with the virus lock down a group of bored 5th graders got together to put this pathetic poll together.

And he bragged about his docs thinking he should be tested to see if he can identify an elephant or draw a clock. . .

Hence a gnat could not limbo that bar.

This is pretty simple: Democrats, as a group, did not stick their heads in the ground. They didn't simply announce that it was going to go away, that it would magically disappear. As group, they confronted the issue by following the guidance of science. This is not a hard question. Its just hard for you to grasp the answer.

Forgive the Democrats for calling out Trump for running from responsibility. It's pretty much the duty of all Americans to call out dereliction of duty in our elected officials.

They pretended, are still pretending the spread is all because of Trump.
They're the great pretenders, so don't put your money on them if you think they could do better.

Short answer:

NOT A FRIGGIN' BIT

They followed CDC guidelines, when trump was bashing them.

What's a little shocking to me is if he'd done what he did today from the beginning, there's little question he'd be cruising to reelection, or at least doing far better. And here's what it required:

1) Ask Fauci/Birx about the state of the virus, recommendations for how to limit spread.
2) Repeat what they say.

That's it. 75% approval rating on handling the pandemic.... And we know the message discipline for Trump is about 0, so as soon as he's watching Hannity or Fox and Friends or RT or OANN and they tell a different story about the pandemic than it's going to get worse, wear your damn mask, he'll repeat that and undermine everything he said today. I give it a week, tops.

And what has Trump done exactly? What has Trump done lto stop it?

Why are so many of these polls created by right wingers trying so hard to avoid reality? These possible answers are nothing but right wing talking points. Do they ever just shut up and go away?

If you want right wingers to shut up and go away, Canada is just a hop, skip, and a jump from here ;)
