With all the news lately about Hurricane Katrina, we shouldn't forget

that Houston has had it's share of devastating weather also.

The attached photo illustrates the damage caused to a home when

Hurricane Rita passed through the Houston area a couple of days ago. It

really makes you cherish what you have, and reminds us not to take life for

granted!!!

Oh my God. You showed the picture. I wish you hadn't. Channel 13 is now on the air with that picture, and warning Houstonians of a magnitude 8.5 earthquake caused when the chair fell over. Get ready Dallas. Here we come again. LOL.

That's funny, I just answered that question on the Animal Holocaust thread. It was an article by Peter Singer entitled All Animals Are Equal. Read it in my ethics class a year ago (woo hoo everyone!!! One year!!!). Went cold turkey vegan that day.

And I have no idea how computers work. It took my two hours to get my avatar up in the first place. :mrgreen:
