Yeah, reporting on what tea baggers actually believe is unfair in the minds of rightwingers.
And he knew he had a hot mic ..... doh
That is the best part and everyone skips that.
When McConnell says " I'm all wired up here,,,um" it reminds me a teenage girl telling her teenage boyfriend her parents are in the next room. But like a horny teenage boy Paul doesn't hear that.
So when the parents barge into the room the twisting of the facts begin which is running rampant here..
Gee, I wonder if that tape will be on political campaign ads in the future........
Are you blind?
He just stated that they "We're willing to compromise. We're willing to negotiate. " and is the Dems saying they weren't.
It is the Dems who are not willing to compromise.
/QUOTE]I'm sure you know all about teabagging.[
We do know all about the teabaggers in the Tea party.
:naughtyCorrect.
Because the GOP's definition of compromise is the Democrats saying "OK, we give up, you win on everything.
That is not going to happen.
Rand Paul was on Meet The Press today and was asked about the video of him and McConnell. First they showed the video of Boehner complaining about an article in the Wall Street Journal reporting an unnamed senior whitehouse official who reportedily said" we don't care how this last because we are winning. Boehner angrily replies,"This isn't some damn game." Then they show Paul's screw up on mic of saying they are going to win.
What was Paul's reaction? The typical deer in headlights.
Yes, it is a damn game fools.
:spin: :alert nothing was exposed, except for the continuing fact that the media is spinning what is going on, and the Democrats have shutdown the Government.Hot Mic Catches Rand Paul, Mitch McConnell Discussing Their Actual Government Shutdown Concerns
The total cynicism of the GOP exposed.
Ya, REAL SCANDAL HERE... Way worse than targeting of political opponents with the IRS, way worse then letting ambassadors be killed in Benghazi so Alquaida could get their hands on anti-air missiles, worse than shipping guns and grenades to Mexican cartels, way worse than supporting Alquaida against syria...
This is so much less scandalous than the times Obama himself got caught with a hot mic... Which aren't even the worst cases of stuff being said when the person involved thought noone was listening.
The cynicism is appalling. It shows that these tea party freaks hope that if they "keep saying" lies, the American people might fall for them.
Pitiful.
How dare Republicans steal the Democrats long-standing MO!!!!
I think we all agree now that it is okay to lie. We should move on because there is a game going on.

And that Rand and McConnell are endorsing the big lie tactic of the Nazis. Keep telling a lie and people will believe it.
OK, so Rand Paul got caught admitting that this was more about winning than doing something right for America. Obama hasn't been heard saying that only because he didn't get caught, like Rand Paul did. Meanwhile the wing nuts on both sides pretend that this is about America. This couldn't be further from the truth. This is about the same old political bullcrap. Both sides want to win, and both sides are more than willing to kick America to the curb in the process.
Deflection. It's all that's left for conservative due to the complete intellectual bankruptcy of conservatism.
And that Rand and McConnell are endorsing the big lie tactic of the Nazis. Keep telling a lie and people will believe it.
It is always ok when the other side does it, Got it.
