Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem transported by ambulance to DC-area hospital, sources say

Whatever happened to "when they go low, we go high"

There is a reason why so many Americans were sick and tired of Democrats mucking up the works.
Get used to being in the political wilderness for a while.

I keep hearing the bolded, yet whenever I check - I see this:

After Trump’s terrible comments regarding Walz....be the change you want to see. Can't stand her but this terrible rhetoric needs to change
I agree with you, it does. However, it needs to change from the top down. What are the chances of that? As long as the Commander in Chief keeps up the BS, I see no reason why the resistance should give in to depravity.

They can take exactly what they dish out. Screw em!

Who defended that ****ing guy? Who said he was really a redhat? Who blamed Scalise for his own shooting? Which Democrat preacher immediately blamed trans- teens for the culture of violence?

And who's defending the guy who assassinated Democrats?

Absolutely no one here. No one is defending his actions.

Enough is enough.

At some point, I started to suspect that I was probably getting too old to fully recover from a motorcycle accident. Then I started to suspect that everyone is too old to fully recover from a motorcycle accident. Then I had kids, and the risk became completely not worth it.

Will I ever ride again? I don't know. I still have the bike. It's getting old, too. Bought it new. Man, time flies.

I started out young, on dirt, around 10 or 11. By my late teens I was riding street bikes. Several decades later I messed-up my back, putting an end to my V-Twin two-wheeling. When I came to that conclusion, I was both saddened & relieved. Saddened it was over, but relieved I made it through the years! I never dropped a bike on the street. That's quite a record, I think.

For several years after, I danced around with the idea of getting a trike. But I never was crazy-enough about a trike to do it.

I did take-up with a small drop-top convertible sports car, which actually was way more out-in-the-wind fun than I thought. I'm now totally fine no longer being up-on-two-wheels.

I still have a love-hate affair with Toys-For-Tots, though.

I get a sense that many of the Citizens of this DebatePolitics Community aren't really much interested in how the outside world, or history, views yourselves as human beings? [Yes, that's a question.] I mean, we have a government official having some sort of medical trouble and before you even know what the actual problem is many of you on Page One go immediately into the slander mode and write absolutely horrible stuff based purely upon your personal political thought processes. You display no sort of proper human feelings like that which you'd feel if it were a member of your family that was in that situation.

And how does that make this Community look? Or maybe you don't view DebatePolitics as a "community"? Maybe you just view this platform like when you were kids and you could go early into the classroom and write some nasty stuff on the chalkboard and so no human feelings or anything is involved. You know, that "be nice" style human feeling stuff? None of that is needed here? Not even wanted? "BE NICE" is a bad idea here, right?

Nope, this is just a platform where the overriding principle is be as nasty as the rules allow and to Hell with being a good, caring human!?

I mean, there must be some reason a thread was started about a single human on our planet. Seems odd to start a thread about a single human being taken to a medical care facility, if that human isn't of some importance. Or to put it another way, the next time I have to use bug spray on a cockroach [you, know, chemical warfare] I start a thread on the demise of that poor hapless cockroach. My remorse for feeling a need to nail that little critter and a thread is necessary.
Yep, I read through Page One of this thread and had no choice but to place a copy from Google's search engine (archived by Google for public viewing) - - - a copy from Google that goes into my "Defining DebatePolitics" folder.
Of course, maybe a majority of the Citizens of this Community have no care at all what the general public might think of what they can read around here? You folks also throw trash out on your lawns and sidewalks of your brick-and-mortar communities? Or you view that sort of community as different? This Community isn't real? Just a Net platform for your garbage?

So odd how humans can't seem to keep up with advances in civilization. Most of you do not consider this an important community, do you? You really do not understand what this Internet is really about, do you?

By the way, I wonder how many of you were smart enough to fake your handwriting when you put that slander on the chalkboard?

What exactly do you mean by the bolded, medi?

This just in. Kristi Noem was determined to have an allergic reaction to something at this point un-named. Good for her. At least it was not apparently life threatening.

She will probably be released this evening. They are waiting for her to change into her own clothes after she returns the doctor's gown once she is finished pretending to be an anesthesiologist. Sources say it may be a while. Noem wants to have her picture taken in ER with accident victims and dead people while she passes gas for the camera.

This bitch has no problem whatsoever with bragging about killing a dog, she plays dress up Barbie and smiles while families are ripped apart and people are sent to torture prison, and she’s absolutely fine with stripping access to medical care and healthcare away from millions.

So 🤷‍♀️. Yeah…I’m gonna say I don’t care what happens to her. As far as I’m concerned, she is an awful human being….for the dog incident alone. The rest is just icing on that awful cake.

Best post so far! 👍👍

Are you going to address the fact that people on your side are mocking Kristi for being hospitalized?
Did your side immediately start spreading reckless and false accusations that the Minnesota murderer was a Democrat when in fact he was a pro-Trump religious zealot?
]
Friends say Minnesota shooting suspect was deeply religious and conservative
Friends and former colleagues interviewed by AP described Boelter as a devout Christian who attended an evangelical church and went to campaign rallies for President Donald Trump. Records show Boelter registered to vote as a Republican while living in Oklahoma in 2004 before moving to Minnesota where voters don’t list party affiliation.
[...]
The alleged shooter’s roommate and friend, David Carlson, told reporters Sunday that Boelter had become a born-again Christian and would preach in the park.
There's just something fundamentally unstable with people who rely on harsh religious dogma to get them through the day...

Gotcha:

Making fun of someone for going to the hospital: Morally acceptable.

Not calling a failed governor for his failed leadership: Morally unacceptable.

Rank hypocrisy.

This thread is a disgrace.
Were Mike Lee's tweets a disgrace?

What's worse, posts on a small political chat forum, or reckless, inflammatory lies and slander by a U.S. Senator on X right after a couple of assassinations?

Which makes you madder?
