Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem transported by ambulance to DC-area hospital, sources say

What exactly do you mean by the bolded, medi?

That which you ask about is essentially dealing with legal matters that research departments have to keep in mind. In this case, it is my own private research and whether it will eventually end up needing review by site owner(s) because of publishing results from the research, has yet to be determined. It could be all this will be decided upon by my daughter, when she takes over the company.

But when we have had contracts for research our legal department has sent all of us a number of documents/links and maybe two that I refer to, when necessary, could help you understand:

And the reference to Google's mining of information is like a kind of front line of defense in any research project, because some research companies, like ours, interact with the Google legal people a lot more than some might realize.

In fact, I own a huge database of a very early and very large forum, but due to very weird legal restrictions I have to wait for that January 1st 98 years thingy before it can be used. I was given control of that database in a joint ownership situation, but then a court redefined the law here in Japan (some decades ago) and so I have to just sit on it - - - well, I'll be quite dead by the time is is free to be used.

Another interesting legal hurdle can be a contract a site owner may have signed with the server's owner and wasn't paying attention and the host has rights that - - - well, the site owner gets surprised.

Anyway, a long answer; sorry. It's just a legal thing. As I wrote a couple years ago I came here to study and that led into actual research.

BUT, there is also the need to be able to provide historians in a couple hundred years with material that is reliable, so that they can understand where we did things right or wrong with this Internet thing. That is a big reason why we have our uni connections in a couple of nations around the planet. And I am still a member of the ISOC, even if they find me a thorn in their side. In fact, I'm technically still connected to both Google and Microsoft, even though they both find me an even bigger thorn in their sides. Needless to say, I'm not much liked by a lot of money folks. And then I went and burned my Musk bridge a couple weeks ago. Me is so stupid sometimes. My poor daughter will have to mend some of those bridges.

Whatever happened to "when they go low, we go high"
Did you ask the felon about that when he smeared on Walz or did you applaud him?
There is a reason why so many Americans were sick and tired of Democrats mucking up the works.
We are here on an anonymous message board. MAGAs are cruel out in the real world and MAGAs on this board are cheering it on.
Get used to being in the political wilderness for a while.
Not sure what that means.

Allergic reaction? To what? The Truth?
From all the articles I read it was
“Secretary Noem had an allergic reaction today. She was transported to the hospital out of an abundance of caution. She is alert and recovering,” DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin said.
That's code speak for not too serious but let's check it out.
Of course I gladly stand corrected.

@trixare4kids liked the idea of Andrew McCabe getting the lethal injection.

Now, she's here being high and mighty offended at people making a joke out of LEO Barbie having an allergic reaction.

Saaaaay my name, say my naaaaame.

😃

Not surprised by reading the above or the likes given by those who sadistically agreed that mocking Kristi Noem's sudden hospitalization is gleeful.

Hypersensitivity reactions to filler are, alas, not uncommon.

Thoughts and prayers.

So, anyways....any pet pics to post? Or any fun allergies? I'm allergic to TuffSkin, the athletic trainer spray...gives horrible hives.

How about those Mike Lee comments about the Minnesota shootings? Real classy.

Link please. I don't pay much attention to what far right Republican Mike Lee says but whatever he said is a whataboutism deflection on your part. That much I do know.
