Yes, I mentioned her in the OP. She was badly injured but they were hoping to save her. Sadly not. I doubt he particularly went for her. He just threw his grenades and shot a bit and then, if the earlier reports I heard are correct shot himself in the head. He had clearly gone mad.

Yes but in the OP we did not know he was a gangster. I have already later added that he was criminally involved in firearms. However neither of those explains why someone would bring grenades a gun and a machine gun and start shooting off at a bus stop where people's known greatest crime is doing their Christmas Shopping.
