Which battlefields were you at? I was in Afghanistan, does that mean my opinion is much more qualified than Lizzie's? I read the book and watched the movie, and while Chris Kyle was religious, it in no way seemed to be the driving motivation behind his actions. His actions seemed to be driven by being a red blooded alpha male whose job it was to enact violence on our behalf, and that he did very well.
I think both wars were a tremendous mistake, but making **** up just to smear soldiers is kind of lame, isn't it? This isn't a Christian jihad.
I agree...I think one issue with heroes now-a-days is that we learn much more than ever about their lives and their opinions. Nobody is perfect, nobody is going to exude 100% purity, Chris Kyle was a war hero. That's it. His outside life and what he believed as a civilian shouldn't really damage his legacy of what he did overseas.

Perhaps those arab americans need to start doing something within their religion to curtail the terrorism. We aren't mad at them. We are mad at what they are a part of. Perhaps they should lift a finger.
Yup. Hopefully someone will remind them that in this country they have the right to voice their opposition because of people like Kyle, and that the makers of the movie have the right to ignore it. They are in the business of making movies, not promoting the agenda of any group. Reality is not always sensitive to the needs of the easily offended.
Have you lifted a finger?
They are doing the same thing you are doing.
Last I checked they were Americans too....... if you forgot, check the name of their organization in th OP again.
Yeah, they're American's....
Yes. They are.
And... what does Israel have to do with them being Americans?
What does it have to do with the fact that they are expected to do more than other Americans about terrorists for some unknown reason?
I wonder what would happen if some arab movie maker made a film about a mythical arab sniper taking out westerners one at a time, and portraying them as heathens in the process.
Boy, that would go over like a lead balloon, eh?
As a matter of fact, they already make those kinds of movies. They have been doing so for more than a decade at this point.
This one, for example:
Valley of the Wolves: Iraq - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Apparently glorifies suicide bombers blowing up American troops in Iraq, and features Billy Zane as an EVVVVIIILLL mustache twirling American commander.
Where do you think the culture you live in came from? The pizza, burger, ballet, the beers ..... it came with migrants
At this point, yeah, that's pretty much what I expect. Adopt victim status, then make demands.

I suspect some wackos with guns here would start killing muslims because of it.
What "hateful language directed at U.S. Arabs and Muslims?"
At worst, Kyle is shown refering to insurgents and insurgent sympathizers as being "savages." There are absolutely no instances of the term being used as a racial slur against Muslims or Arabs in general, let alone those living in the United States.

I never made it to the middle east, and unlike Lizzie, I have not claimed to have heard statements from soldiers on the battlefield there.
This isn't a Christian jihad? It seems that depends upon who is telling the story. You may not recall but Boykin and Bush made several statements (they were each quickly corrected) about 'crusades'.
Who is smearing soldiers? I am not. My nephew has been over there. I'm thrilled he does not seem to have PTSD.
I've been standing up for our soldiers since this hoax began--get our boys the **** out of there and back home, since Bush began all this.
No, because have self control unlike, well you know what group I am going to stat does not have self control.
Oh, I'm not guessing. We already know it. They've been doing it since 911. A movie like that would cause a flare-up. Not that the wackos with guns who kill people in public places need any particular reason. But they would jump on this reason pretty quickly.
Have you lifted a finger?
I'm not an arab american. I didn't criticize the movie. I have no influence with the religion. I didn't say they weren't americans. I didn't say they couldn't say what they said. I'd be happy to lift a finger. Any ideas?
You missed the point of my questions at all.
Why are Arab Americans expected to do more about terrorism than you?
Because they can. Terrorism operates under the aegis islam. They are part of islam. I am not. How complicated would you like to make it?
