GOP Must Dump Trump - Scarborough

And what will they do?
Lots of things they, We can do. I advocate civil disobedience, passive resistance, non violent protest. Refusal to obey laws that are a threat to the nation.

If the government actually started trying to confiscate guns, forcing gun buy backs or the like, then I see violence being resorted to... wouldn't just be the occasional rancher standoff, it will be many of us.

If I were to be a smug smartass - I would tell you I look forward to many of you engaging in the type of violent illegality that we have seen like the Bundy ranch standoff so that you all can have your sorry behinds arrested, tried, convicted and sent to prison. There would be some reward in that and it would be a way of flushing the toilet to get rid of the offensive odor caused by the build up of waste.

However, then by better angels take over and I think about the serious social disruption this would cause and I hope and pray most of you are far too cowardly to ever do that and such confrontations do not arise because they would only hurt our nation and our people.

As I said, she starts a totalitarian move towards taking away an inalienable right, she will get her ass kicked by the American people.

When did Hillary Clinton advocating removing the right to keep and bear arms? Why would she suddenly do that in the future?

This is simply hyperbolic paranoia being dispensed by the right wing screaming 'Hillary is going to take your guns'. Such total crap serves the gun industry, the NRA and rules the warped minds of the right wing. It hardly serves the truth.

If elected the un-indicted felon will most probably have several Supreme Court choices. The court already leans too far left in its rulings, sometimes to the point of being completely unconstitutional. Then if they rule, or interpret the Constitution, the way she no doubts ultimately desires, then there will be serious trouble.

Just another reason not to vote Hillary.

http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box...-australia-style-gun-control-worth-looking-at

Maybe you should keep up with the candidates you defend, seems like you are not at all well informed but you want to tell everyone else how it is? What would even be better, if you don't like what she says and don't think she should be saying things that will cause, as you put it, "serious social disruption" why don't you silence the corrupt felon bwitch then? Don't blame me, she is the one saying these stupid and dangerous things.

Cowardly? Its a coward that is scared of his neighbors but that is too weenie to have a gun. Its a true coward that not only doesn't want a gun, doesn't want anyone else to have one and wants the government to come in and take it from the people he/she is afraid of having the Constitutional ability to bear arms.

Its the stupid coward that thinks all that and that it will somehow improve things.

Let her try that for you folks and see how cowardly are those who take seriously their rights.

Stop right there. How can one be such a thing when it is a contradiction in terms?
A Felony is the level of the crime. You are a felon if you have committed that level of crime, whether convicted or not.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felony

Felon = A person who has committed a felony is a felon, and upon conviction of a felony in a court of law is known as a convicted felon or a convict.

Now that we stopped right there and you have been proved wrong, maybe you can carry on more informed and perhaps reply to the other parts of the post as well [ hopefully better, as you certainly muffed this one ].

Your own source proves you wrong. Here it is right from your wikipedia source

A person who has committed a felony is a felon, and upon conviction of a felony in a court of law is known as a convicted felon or a convict.

It clearly states that the person becomes a felony upon conviction in a court. If one is unindexed, then no conviction in a court has taken place and one cannot be a felon.

Good lord, can you not read what you just copy and pasted, BOLDED/ENLARGED???? Since you obviously cannot do it by yourself, I will guide you through.

It says, very plainly I might add, "A person who has committed a felony is a felon". Do you just NOT GET THAT????????????????????????

It also goes on to say, "and upon conviction of a felony in a court of law is known as a convicted felon or a convict."

Now if you don't understand that, might want to get an adult to help you out.

Do you know the difference between the two English words AND and OR?

Apparently you do not. Perhaps you are not a native English speaker?

If it said OR then you would have a case. Since it says AND - and in this case the AND makes a conviction of a felony in court part of the definition of the word FELON, all you have is egg on your face as your own definition proves you wrong.

A felon must have committed a felony AND be convicted in court of it - according to your own source.

Are you just ignorant or do you really not understand what the word AND means?

If the GOP doesn't dump Trump the American voters will in November.

Wait and see.

"Better days are coming." ~ But not for today's out of touch, running out of time,GOP.

Joe Scarborough is a former Republican member of the US House of Representatives from the state of Florida. He is the host of a popular morning show on MSNBC called MORNING JOE. Over the last year, he has been one of the exceptions on national TV giving Donald Trump a friendly reception and saying many pfsitivethings about him and his movement.

Now Scarborough calls for the Republican Party to tell Trump "your'e fired".

https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-partisan/wp/2016/08/09/the-gop-must-dump-trump/

In the last few hours I watched aghast as one Republican after another tried to excuse Trumps call for a Clinton assassination after she gets elected over the issue of guns. And now its clear why they are doing this. If they stand up and admit what Trump actually did yesterday - then they must be adults and take action. And they do not have the courage or the fortitude or just plain cojones to take that action.

The Republican Party is hanging over the cliff hanging on by its fingertips. The future of the GOP is in the balance here.

Hillary Clinton is a badly flawed weak candidate who should be easily beaten this year. Instead she is romping to a victory and will most likely lead her party taking control back of the Senate. And Donald Trump is to blame.

And Scarborough is right and should be listened to.

bs Joe Scarborough is no republican he is a martha's vineyard republican or better known as a RHINO.so you and Joe Scarborough are for throwing out the votes of 14 million Americans .
tell you what hull you and Joe Scarborough are a sorry excuse for an American.

You make these short cryptic quips but they make no sense as replies to the post you pretend you are attempting to reply to.

Hell, I taught English my first year teaching.

You have not a clue about the language, its usage nor about how to comprehend the written word, it is quite apparent. The pertinent word is "is". Not "and" or "or".

"A person who has committed a felony is a felon".

There is no question about it... the and part only relates to the conviction for that crime level, felony, " and upon conviction of a felony in a court of law is known as a convicted felon or a convict.".

You see, its felon vs convicted felon. That is why I started with un-indicted felon, which is the level of crime we all know over-the-Hillary has committed... but as she was not even indicted by the criminal for not even attempting Justice Department, she is only a felon, an un-indicted felon.

If it is this difficult to explain in simple language something so obviously plain, it is really of no wonder why you cannot understand just how bad Hillary is for the nation.

Are you attempting to lie and commit intellectual fraud or is it simply sloppy work on your part?

Here is the line from your source defining what a FELON is:

A person who has committed a felony is a felon, and upon conviction of a felony in a court of law is known as a convicted felon or a convict.

There is NO PERIOD after the word FELON but a comma indicating that the sentence is not completed nor is the definition.

Why would you change that?

It is one sentence and the word AND clearly shows that one must be convicted to be a FELON.

You are trying to pull one of the shabbiest, lowest and most fraudulently intellectual shams I have seen here in some time.

You should slink back under that rock in abject shame.

No. There are two parts of the sentence each establishing a different but a related thing. One establishes the definition of what is a felon and the other establishes what is a convicted felon.

You have been exposed committing intellectual fraud.

Why did you dishonestly attempt to pass off a fraud as the definition by putting a PERIOD where a comma was ending the sentence and the definition before your source ended it?

just google the following: DEFINITION FELON. Here is what you get

fel·on1
ˈfelən/Submit
noun
1.
a person who has been convicted of a felony.
synonyms: convict, crook, criminal, outlaw; More

Just as I and your source have stated.

But lets expose your ignorance yet a different way. Tell me this English teacher: If a person - let us say me - strikes a person to do bodily harm and does do bodily harm and under the laws of that state to do so is a felony but I was never charged, never arrested, never tried and never convicted - am I a felon and if your answer is yes - what exactly makes me a felon and who would recognize that I am a felon?

How would I even know I am a felon since people who do the same act can be acquitted if charged or even dropped down to a misdemeanor if tried and convicted. So how do I even know I am a felon if I have never been convicted and labeled as such?

When will people get it? The GOP did not select nor elect Donald Trump. The people that voted in the primaries selected Donald Trump. The GOP would LOVE to be rid of Trump. Unfortunately there isn't a mechanism for that to happen and if there was, they would have used it. It should also be noted that for all the bluster and the 24/7 deluge against Trump that is occurring in virtually every media 'news' outlet, Trump has climbed back to within 3 points of Hillary.

The BEST option REMAINS not in selecting a viral, vile, corrupt liar as a preference to Trump but to unite behind a viable 3rd party alternative. Gary Johnson is THE BEST candidate and option in this election and NOT just because he is NOT Trump or Clinton. Regardless of which 2 party piece of **** that gets elected the fault will rest with those that blindly voted partisan or with the less repugnant alternative.

Sorry bub, not letting you get away with what IS actually intellectual fraud, what you are doing...here is my original post with the definition of both felon and convicted felon as copied and pasted from Wikipedia.

No periods, a comma separating the two separate definitions as one is for felon and one is for convicted felon. Easy for even a 4th grader to read properly and generally understand. That would put you at below 4th grade reading level. Both uses of "is" should have alerted you to different circumstances leading to different identifications of felon versus convicted felon. Doing crime at the level of a felony makes you a felon and upon conviction for that crime you are a convicted felon.

And to answer your other question, if you commit a crime at the level of a felony, you are a felon, whether plea bargained out, not indicted, or even if only God knew, you are still a felon by definition if you commit a felony level crime.

Lord, one can understand only getting to a third grade level of reading comprehension... teachers have other students in the class that need attention... the amount of one on one time is not generally there to be spent... and with not getting it over and over and over and over... perhaps one can only reach the 3rd grade level. I know it is not your fault if you truly cannot understand, but a bit frustrating on this end as to its utter simplicity.
