How many of you have read this book to your toddlers?

I never really liked Good Night, Moon.
It's boring. Nothing happens.
My children preferred Dr Seuss books.
I also liked Richard Scarry books, both for myself as a child, and also for reading to my children. Just looking at the detailed illustrations can keep kids busy for hours.

Oh sure - all the time. Some kids like it more than others, every kid is different.
My daughter loved it when she was really little but now she liked fiction stories, like Beauty and the Beast, and we read a few pages every night.

Never heard of it.

I thought you were talking about the Shivaree song of the same name.

I did.

Anyone know the name of the potty training book that has:

"Bye bye wee wee." and "Bye bye poo poo."?

Absolutely, Kates loved it when she was little. Her favorite was "Moo Baa La La La"

"A cow says MOO."
"A sheep says BAA."
"Three singing pigs say LA LA LA!"

"'No, no!' you say, 'that isn't right.
The pigs say OINK all day and night.'"

Read it? I wanted to design a bedroom just like it. There was something about that little book.

Yes, although he's not so much into it anymore. We loved finding the mouse in each picture of the room. (I have a cousin who was freaked out by the "Goodnight nobody" usage. LOL)

Yes, independent thinker, jackolope got the title of the book correctly. I own the book and the DVD. ;)

I don't have kids myself yet, but I loved this book myself as a toddler. My mom got sick of reading it to me I liked it so much. Some other favorites were The Napping House, and Bertie and the Bear.

jackalope, I just realized I misspelled your name. Sorry! :3oops:

dat's okay, I didn't even notice. People routinely spell my real life first and last names incorrectly. I'm used to it.

American, you didn't say: Are you reading it to your toddlers, or did you read it to your toddlers? (Not sure if you're a dad, or how old your kidlets are...)
