It seems that Glenn Beck has found what he believes is a weapon to propel Ted Cruz to the GOP nomination. He is asking the right to join him on Monday in a fast for Cruz.

Following Donald Trump’s victory in the South Carolina GOP primary, talk radio host Glenn Beck urged his Facebook followers to join him and his family “in a fast for Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), our country and the Nevada caucus.”

“I would like to ask you to join me and my family Monday in a fast for Ted Cruz, our country and the Nevada caucus,” Beck wrote on his Facebook page after the South Carolina election results showed a decisive double-digit victory for Trump, whose candidacy Beck has been staunchly opposed to.

I would suggest that if fasting on monday will help cruz, it would be a hundred times better if Beck and his supporters did it for one hundred days. Think of what that would do for the nation.

Who reads Breitbart, that isn't crazy? Or cares what Glenn Beck says or does; the far right wing's conspiracy central commandant? Even Fox News had to get rid of the guy.

I'm always amazed the number of times Breit's dead ass is drug into discussions, but very rarely by the political lean of those who do so... :peace
 
What's the point? God herself already told Cruz to run. How can he lose with backing like that?

Fasting for a political candidate is a little "interesting," but diversity is part of what makes our nation great.

It's a big tent where a lot of those under it are on Prozac.

It will be interesting to see how this turns out.

I predict that it won't get Cruz into the White House but it might get Beck into a White suit.

It's a shame that Glenn Beck still has an audience that honestly believes what he says. Why in the world would he think his God would support Ted Cruz? I believe that if the left would start talking about how incredible their faith is, prayed in public, and spoke about "Christian persecution" they would never lose an election. I swear, people like Beck use religion to pour over a core of prejudice and hate.
