Re: Fox/WSJ GOP debate thread!
Excellent Fox moderators.
Excellent Fox moderators.
I'm not a Carson fan, but it seems to me that those who claimed he was unclear had decided that before he spoke.

He tried to say he wouldn't bail the banks out, but would somehow have a good metric to decide which individual citizens come out okay given the circumstances.
It not only sounded weak in being able to sell his proposal, but he didn't make it sound plausible.
He should have backed Paulson.
Rubio really has a strong, positive message. It is wrong in most every detail, but it comes across well, which is what a candidate wants.
I am pretty sure the FDIC doesn't insure credit default swaps or other derivatives.
We didn't bail out banks because we were concerned people would lose their savings in them, but rather because of the cascading effects the failure of massive banks would have had on the global economy.
What Kasich says is what would actually win for Republicans in a general election. If you disagree then go ahead, run again on pure Republican orthodoxy and lose another one.
LOL!Overall I would say that the JV debate was more substantive than the varsity debate was.
Maybe Santorum really is the best guy for the job.
Cruz is a great speaker!
Carson's closing argument -- drug deaths, abortion deaths, veteran suicides, deficits -- but no solutions.
Cruz is a great speaker!
Absolutely agree!but i would not buy a car from him
he's a cold shark
look at his closing
just as his presentations
he could cite problems
and could never identify any solutions
So you think Hillary's victory is a foregone conclusion ??
Jeeze I hope not.
Trump, even when more subdued, is a pretty decent closer.
That's true of Carly as well.
