Fox News contributor punched in face at pro-union protests in Michigan [W:867]

Nonsense. So, people that disagree with your point of view are "asking for it"?

While I may not agree with him, I think he's speaking to the how it was done and not that there was disagreement. People should control themselves even when dealing with an ass, which is where I might disagree with him.

It's not that they had it coming, its more like they got they wanted.

Why were they there if not to provoke the very people whose livelihoods they are helping to destroy?

They wanted to be pushed, punched and have their property destroyed?

That's quite a conspiracy theory you have going there.

Ok, so how was it done in a manner that could in any way excuse assault?

There is no sign in that video that Crowder hit anyone.

They passed laws defending Worker's Rights over Union Rights, which is as it should be.

Yes, the behavior of the Union thugs does seem similar to whats going on in Cairo where the rights of the individual is also being suppressed by organized thuggery.

Yeah, I didn't see it either, what I did notice was that the union thugs were cutting down the tents with people in them, and Crowder tries to get them to stop it, but no punches from him...In fact he is throwing his hands in the air....

Just for those who don't know Crowder fights Amateur MMA, I am sure he could have knocked Mr. two Jelly doughnuts out if he wanted to.

It seems that workers are being paid what they are worth in RTW States where the companies aren't held to ransom. It's a competitive world out there and if businesses can't compete they will just go elsewhere or die. In fact Detroit has become the graveyard for failed businesses.

Monopolies like labor unions are always expensive for everyone and it's a good thing for business, and the consumer, when they are finally broken.

I recall some threads when the constitutional ban on flag burning amendment was being discussed. Many on the right said that if someone is burning an American flag they are asking to get their asses kicked.

Hell just ask Navypride what he would do if someone burned a flag in front of him.

That was hypothetical, this is reality.

He wasn't just disagreeing, he was up in the old guys face and pushed him on the ground. Just a bully that got what was coming to him as far as I am concerned.

At least in the video you provided, I did not see what you claim happened...Now it is obvious that the video was edited, so if you have something that shows this supposed 'first move' on Crowder's part, I am open to see it...

They showed it on the news last night. And Crowder laughing about it in an interview. I would venture a guess that if he continues be a smart ass to those who's survival is at stake, it will probably not be the last time he gets punched.

I saw the video and watched the clown interviewed. The dude asked to get punched by the old-timer that punched him.
No he didn't.

Go to the video that is in the article linked to in the OP.
That video is not edited in regards to the portion in question.

Here is the link to the article for the lazy.
Fox News contributor punched in face at pro-union protests in Michigan | Fox News

The guy goes to the ground but not by Crowders hands.

The old guy was getting into Crowder's face for trying to stop other Union thugs from tearing down the tent.

Where's the link?

Then it should be easy for you to provide the video that proves that Steven Crowder pushed the guy....I'll wait.

Yeah, I saw Union guys destroying the tent, and intimidating, and at one point physically attacking a guy....What I didn't see is anything to the liberal claim that Crowder pushed the guy first, or that he deserved the assault.

Well you know liberals. They have a different standard (depending on the circumstances), for what the word "deserve" means.

No he didn't.

"the New York Times reported:

"Unfortunately for Mr. Crowder, a look at the video broadcast on the Sean Hannity show appears to show quite clearly that he left out an important section of the footage when he put together his edit. A section of the Fox News broadcast preserved by the Web site Mediaite shows that Mr. Hannity’s producers at Fox News started the clip five seconds earlier than Mr. Crowder did. What the extra footage reveals is the man who punched Mr. Crowder being knocked to the ground seconds before and then getting up and taking a swing at the comedian."

Steven Crowder Doesn

Obviously you 'believe' you saw "Union guys destroying the tent" but the participants are starting to tell a different story today

I don't think you can tell exactly what happened, but I have to admit that I'm on the fence here. Crowder had his hands on him (the guy who punched him), and then the guy fell before getting up and throwing the punches.

So how do you think he fell down if Crowder didn't push him?

No, the guy I saw in the video cutting the tent line was wearing the white hard hat with union stickers on it, and a engineer symbol on the front of the helmet. The only 'Guy Falkes' mask I saw was some little punk for about a second passing through...Also to note the guys cutting the tent up with knives were also in hard hats, and Carhartt jackets with safety vests on....This is just more lies.

Tripped on the tent line he was trying to cut? Crowder clearly states in the video "Stop cutting the tent"....

Looks like we may have been "O'Keefe'd". (If that term isn't in some urban dictionary it should be.)

This stuff is nothing compared to real labor disputes. History is full of insightful stuff . . . I hate seeing it be repeated. I find it quite puzzling how effective the government is in turning middle class folks against middle class folks. Brilliant and evil all at the same time. Yet the Rich stay Rich. Those who want Unions eliminated . . . be careful what you wish for.

Man . . . if the last 120-years was on video it would be like watching a rerun.
