Fox Host Apologizes Again For 'Boobs On The Ground' Joke[W:127]

Re: Fox Host Apologizes Again For 'Boobs On The Ground' Joke

Don't forget all the tears they shed about the War on Christmas or how much airtime they give to Palin wailing about people using the word "retard."

Exactly. So what if a supposed professional spews a few misogynist remarks on national TV? Women are second class citizens, anyway.

And speaking of thin skinned people, Lattegate is another perfect example! I mean wall-to-wall coverage because the President saluted with a latte in his hand? Pleeeaaaassse.

Re: Fox Host Apologizes Again For 'Boobs On The Ground' Joke

So we're just going ad hominem now? The thread must be derailed with a "comparison" (that really doesn't make much sense; an equally sexist joke from an MSNBC host might be considered a valid comparison) simply because the person who posted it is "partisan"?

Now you accuse me of derailing when you're the one pursuing this "derailing" discussion? Sweet! The person who created the thread has a very long and distinguished history of creating one sided threads like this - so yeah. I'm pretty comfortable with that. What's surprising is that you - who are on record consistently with DP are defending the thread about FOX when your own opinion is that cable news stations all are crap (I'm paraphrasing your prior stance so feel free to correct me) and they're all biased junk. Yet here we are quibbling over a comparison I made mentioning MSNBC.... quite a shocker actually.

No, you tried to deflect attention from Fox by bringing up something wholly irrelevant. I'm not defending MSNBC or Sharpton, I'm simply pointing out that your "comparison" is invalid and was a blatantly obvious attempt to change the subject.

But interesting how now you're trying to make it about me.

Re: Fox Host Apologizes Again For 'Boobs On The Ground' Joke

I saw that episode and he barely made a passing light note about it. Then he sincerely apologized, which shouldn't have been necessary. We're simply becoming too sensitive, to every little incorrect PC comment.

Apparently he must be waterboarded on air - and then cut off his own right thumb to make amends since two apologies just aren't acceptable.

I'm not saying FOX doesn't go after Obama or liberals with ridiculous sentiment also, they sound almost nuts sometimes, but the left with their 'goody goody' crap is really nauseating.

Again... you know my intent better than I do is that it? I answered this latest charge many posts ago in post #62. Go back and re-read that one.

You're the only one continuing this line of discussion so like always - you want to be the center of attention and you apparently want my attention and you got it. Congratulations.

So calling you on your bull**** is now trying to be the "center of attention." Gotcha.

good point! how is THAT not "thin-skinned"? oh yeah - because conservatives brought it up.

You can't tell the difference between bull**** and the truth - not surprising at all and yes, it's always all about you. Didn't you know?

Re: Fox Host Apologizes Again For 'Boobs On The Ground' Joke

No I can show how hypocritical and partisan the thread OP was. It's not a secret that CNN, MSNBC and Fox are biased is it? Did I just out the cable news networks... :doh

Who the hell cares. This thread isn't about Fox News being biased. It's about a person's remarks that many found offensive, and he happened to be on Fox News. The purpose of this thread is to discuss his remarks. The purpose of this thread is NOT about Fox versus MSNBC versus CNN, etc., and it sure as hell was NOT intended for you to whine and cry for pages and pages.

Then please complain to those poster who continually are bringing it up.

That's funny. I would think of ""goody goody" crap"" being like Elizabeth Hasselback and the whole we're so Christian and moral attitude.

They're both guilty of using their political position on certain issues as a moral high ground. Too much ego and emotion applied to a situation results in confuddled and irrational conclusions, too little passion ends up with an ambiguous and blase analysis. We're losing our common sense, balance and maturity in social discussions.

Re: Fox Host Apologizes Again For 'Boobs On The Ground' Joke

I don't see anything funny or strange about women being fighter pilots. Obviously it's a symbol of progression in the middle east. Not only is she the first female fighter pilot, but she is fighting mostly radical islamic men. What's funny about that? It looks like the Arab states are progressing, and good for this woman.
Post of the day! (maybe the week)

You want to moderate the M.E. infighting/outfighting, you get women on an equal or near-equal status to men throughout the region -- vs. the maybe 3rd class status they have now -- and that place will settle down real quick. And what do we get from Fox when there is progress along that front? Pubescent locker room crap on national TV. No class, no class at all.

The one part people here are missing is that having a female UAE fighter pilot is bombing ISIS males is poetic justice. Having a female bust their asses is hilarious.

Hats off to you Major Mariam Al Mansouri.

Ahh... you may want to read again what I said was valid.

Why would I want to go to the trouble reading your post again? Once is enough. :-)

Some men once they leave junior high school stop getting giggly about women's breasts.

Re: Fox Host Apologizes Again For 'Boobs On The Ground' Joke

Like your opinion of what is craptastic is important to me? :lamo You're the same guy who says all cable shows are biased crap.... now you disagree. Shocked I am... shocked!

I've noticed it's important you respond to everyone here. So yeah I think other's opinions here are important to you including Kobie.

But if what others think of you is important why the goofbrain avatar?

I hear off color jokes and humor all the time, and don't get my panties in a wad <<. See what I did there?

You want to hold someone accountable for politically incorrect comments, look at Hollywood's new comedy movies or liberal white celebrities, who're saying the "N" word as if they're progressive and cool enough to get away with it. Or Jonah Hill recently using the "f" word that is a slang towards gays as a pejorative. They wouldn't dare practice hypocrisy?
