FOX Comment on Trump's Disinfectant suggestion

OK, but what would you do with (to?) these non symptomatic carriers? Would you tell them to "socially distance" and to stay at home as much as possible?

If they were actively infectious, yes. Would you go out clubbing with them?

My point, which you seem to have (intentionally?) missed is that everyone has been "ordered" to stay at home as much as possible and to "socially distance" regardless of their COVID-19 test (or lack thereof) status. A prime example was Chris Cuomo who, after testing positive and claiming to be in "self-quarantine", went out anyway without wearing any PPE no less.

More importantly, countries such as Germany and South Korea got their testing started 1-3 weeks after the first confirmed infection and we started 9 weeks later than our first confirmed case. To finish it off, Germany and South Korea got the right kind of test going from the beginning, we did not as many of our tests were failures.

So let me ask you the same question you asked..........."Why are you Trump supporters being so dishonest and not facing the facts of Trump's incompetency? Why are you not facing the errors that were made in our country that were not made in other countries with less economic resources than we have?

Do you think it is fair to compare Italy's, South Korea's , and Spain's ability to address a pandemic with ours? Heck, we were #1 in the world and these other countries were not even on the top 10 and they have met the demand and we haven't!

How could there have been a confirmed case without testing? Anyway, if memory serves, the ball got dropped by the CDC at the start with faulty tests. Now, you can claim that is Trump's fault because of everyone's bastardization of "the buck stops here" motto of Truman, but even with that, to say that those other countries have been better at their ability to address this pandemic is pretty narrow-minded.

Perhaps you can lay out your response plan that would have been top notch. Keep in mind that we have 50 individual states with 50 individual constitutions.

Everyone is social distancing etc. because without extensive testing we have no way of knowing who has the virus. The fall back is to treat everyone as though they were infected. If we had extensive testing, those who actually present a danger would be able to self quarantine and the rest of us could go back to work.

Yep, just like Chris Cuomo did (not).

This is why Governor Cuomo wants more tests. Just because you can point to one person acting irresponsibly doesn't refute strategy. What are you actually suggesting? That we all just pretend this isn't happening. Let our hospitals get overwhelmed and let the virus rip?

Actually, it does refute the "strategy" of doing much more (random?) testing at a huge public expense and then taking no action based on those test results.

Quarantining people who are spreading the virus is taking action.

You keep trying to make it political but it isn't.

If your 15-year old daughter is thinking about dating a known pedophile, do you care if he is a Democrat or a Republican? Will you allow her to date him if he is a Republican pedophile?

Do yourself a favor and see Trump for the "person" he is and not his political views. An incompetent person will cause you harm no matter what his political views are.

Like I said in the previous post, you are blind by choice.

You still don't get it. Try to understand. In 2016 I had two choices, vote for Trump or vote for Hillary. That was a no-brainer.

Every nation follows what the leader of the nation says. I don't know when you are going to wake up to the fact that Trump did not push for, request, and much less authorize any action against the virus for 9 weeks. You can throw blame all around but if the president does not push for it, little will get done.

Here, see for yourself

So now that it has been proven that Trump is a sociopath and incompetent, what is your reason for continuing to support him?

I don't trust the opinions of quacks who think they can analyze Trump from the comfort of their living room easy chairs while drinking themselves silly on cheap wine. I support Trump as the best alternative to the slate of democrat Marxist candidates. America does not need Marx. America needs God and democrats are the party who tried to kick God out, making them the party of the godless and ungodly.

Remember that a President has been, historically speaking, extremely careful with his words, not because of how the intelligent and rational might respond, but how the stupid and irrational might.

Trump drove a trump supporter man and wife to eat fish tank cleaner because of his 24/7 hydroxychloroquine infomercial. Stupid and irresponsible statements by the President of the United States on live television have consequences.

This is the law of large numbers in action. If your words reach enough people, and those words are irresponsible tripe, there is a likelihood that you will reach someone somewhere who is just deranged enough that they will turn your words into tragedy.

I recall back in the GW Bush administration, a member of a music group called the Dixie Chicks made a derisive remark about president Bush. Right wing radio talk host Sean Hannity decided to make it his mission to destroy the Dixie Chicks for their remark regarding the president. For many weeks, Hannity opened his show with a simulated smashing of a DC song and a rant to boycott everything DC, including concerts, radio stations who played their music, everything. He would go on and on about all that was wrong with the world and the DC role in it. And then the DC found themselves having to hire armed security for themselves and their families because they received thousands of death threats during the time that Hannity was leading his crusade against them. He did not relent until someone begged him to stop before someone got killed.

When the president of the U.S. suggests something dangerous or irresponsible, it is completely reasonable to assume he will reach someone who will put his words into action, because his words reach millions every day. Therefore, when tragedy occurs subsequent to something the president says, he must be held accountable, because it is foreseeable and therefore preventable.

Where are you getting 9 weeks? Did you pull that out of your ass? According to the CDC, the first confirmed case was 1/22/2020. By the time testing was being done outside of the CDC, which was 2/27/2020, there were only 15 cases in the country. These are both numbers from the CDC, themselves.

What, in your infinite wisdom, would you have done looking at that data?

You mean to tell me that you are incapable of analyzing anything that is staring you in the face everyday? Let's start with the 15,000 plus lies that can be checked by anyone (including you). You do not have to believe anyone for this, all it takes is a bit of time on Google and checking up on his statements. Then how about the chaos in the WH? all the people he has fired or have left? all the contradicting statements he has made (one day it is this and the next day the opposite)? How about the results. Was the China trade deal better than we had before? How about the promises he made (such as working tirelessly at the WH and not taking time to play Golf, as he said Obama was doing), is that true? How about his constant complaining about the media and how everyone is after him. Do you think complaining solves anything?

I could go on an on but you should now get the gist. You don't need to trust anyone's opinions, all you have to do is open your eyes.

Oh, as far as him being a sociopath . This was not a study about Trump given that it was written many years before Trump was in the picture. In this definition, there are in excess of 30 character and personality traits that a sociopath does. If you open your eyes and assess those characteristics against characteristics that Trump has shown repeatedly on TV, on his press conference, on his tweets, and on his statements, there are at least 28 of those traits that Trump shows repeatedly. Do you believe that going to school a person learns things? Consider this definition of a sociopath, going to school and learning a trait. Just like studying about computers and learning how to use them and fix them. It is information about a person's character traits and what they mean. It is gaining knowledge! Is that something important to you? or are you convinced already that you know it all, like Trump believes?

For example, if a person hit his wife, his daughter, and a lady worker at work, is that something that can be construed as anything else than a dominating person who has no value for women?

Think Marke! I know you have it in you to use your brain, at least I think so? Then again, maybe I am wrong.

You said it, the first case occurred on 1/22/2020.

It was on March 13th that Trump declared a National Emergency and started to address the issue. That is 52 days after the first case and that is 9 weeks. (9x7 days = 56)

March 13: National emergency declaration

Trump declares a national emergency, granting access to $50bn in funding for US states and territories. The move allows for waivers for doctors and hospitals in their response to the virus.

Trump says the US will increase testing capacity, but warns against those without symptoms being tested.

"It's totally unnecessary," Trump said. "This will pass."

That nonsense democrats have created with their list of lies proves they do nothing but scrutinize Trump 24/7 looking for every tiny thing they can misinterpret as a lie in their unbridled hatred for Trump and conservative views and values favored by Christians in America.

Would you have declared a state of emergency for 1 case? 15 cases? Heck, even on March 13, when it was declared, there were less than 2000 confirmed cases in a population of over 300000000. How about you start reacting to reality?

BTW, 52 days is closer to 8 weeks, since 8 x 7 is 56, 9 x 7 is 63. But, what do I know, I am just a stoopid Trumpkin, or whatever.

Here is a FOX comment on Trump's disinfectant suggestion.
The reality is that Trump's actions consistently show that he thinks he is the only one with brains and that he has to suggest to people courses of action to address problems because he doesn't believe that anyone is capable of thinking for themselves.
Experts? He believes he is the only expert in the world. He is the world's most intelligent man and that everyone else is basically stupid.
Here it is from his own mouth:
This kind of action is the definition of a person being a sociopath
When the person at the top believes no one is capable of thinking or being an expert other than him, there is no possible way the nation can progress. Progress can only happen when we work together and everyone contributes. Nations with sociopathic Dictators will always fail. No progress can be made when the person at the front of the nation thinks he knows it all. That is not reality, it is living in a fantasy world of his own making.

Trump is exactly as stupid as he seems.

Trump is
The Naked Emperor

Okay, you consider them lies. Then why don't you prove all those lies are wrong by doing the research yourself. The information is available from data centers that are not biased on any direction (just offers data). Is that not something you would like to "prove to yourself", or do you believe you personally are infallible and know it all? What do you have against verifying information that is negative to your way of thinking? To me, it sounds like you do not want facts or truth, you simply want to be right no matter what.

I read this same drivel from you over and over again (fake facts, Democratic bias, Trump being accused unfairly) but up to now, I have never seen you prove your case. You sound just like Trump, you complain 100% of the time but never check the facts to see if the complaint is valid or not.

Are you at all interested in the truth?

No, why don't YOU start reacting to reality.

Here is reality for you

USA cases 945,835 deaths 53,266 = 5.6%
Germany cases 155,782 deaths 5,819 = 3.7%
S. Korea cases 10,718 deaths 240 = .2%

Both South Korea and Germany started testing 1 week after the first case was reported and we started testing 9 weeks after the first case was reported.

Numbers don't lie, both of those nations have better percentage results than we do.

That is reality.

You don't want me to point out facts any more than most democrats. Nevertheless, Trump says things which can be construed or misstated as lies many, many more times than he says things which can be shown to be deliberate lies. Hillary, on the other hand, said things many time which were clearly deliberate lies that she knew were lies. I can forgive someone for having some data points wrong more that I can just overlook deliberate lying.

That is just one more deflection from you and it is not even a good one. Is that the best you can do?

You are a lost case. You answers are always pitiful to the nth degree. There is nothing of value to anything you say. A 3-year old would be a better debater than you, and a whole lot more honest and seeker of truth.

Poop.webp
Good by once again Marke. You offer nothing but ****.

FOX mimicking Trump by flip-flopping from one week to another. It is funny how bad habits spread so easily.

You are right

He never told anyone to do it, he did suggest it gets looked into because he thinks it will work

Right.

And that, in and of itself, is dumb ass enough. LOL!

But hey, he knows more than the generals so why would he not know more than the medical professionals too?
