Surprise, surprise.

"It can play into their propaganda, to make it clear for anyone who could be in doubt, that it's a war on Islam and all Muslims," Abdullah told CNN over a messaging service.

"[Trump's] helped ISIS a lot, he's basically being a tool for them in a way," Abu Obaida, a British former Jabhat al-Nusra fighter in Syria, told CNN via direct message. "On social media right now there's a lot of people quoting Anwar al-Awlaki (the late spokesperson for al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula) and his last speech when he said that America will turn on the Muslims."

"By banning Muslims, lumping them with radical Islamism, Donald Trump provides ammunition and motivation for al Qaeda and ISIS," said Fawaz Gerges, chairman of contemporary Middle East studies at the London School of Economics and author of "ISIS: A History."

"The policy can easily be interpreted, and is being interpreted, as a ban against Muslims," Gerges said. "If you are serious about defeating ISIS, the last thing you want to do is portray the fight as Islam vs. the West."

"This isn't an isolated policy. Moving the embassy to Jerusalem. Calls for bringing back torture. All of these in combination amplify the rhetoric," Watts said. "Not only are we increasing recruitment, but we're making it harder for our partners around the world to fight with us against terrorism."

More lies about Trump banning Muslims propogated by the MSM. It's official: liberals are working directly with ISIS to help boost terrorism. They're even providing ISIS with talking points based on their fake news.

1. You can thank the liberals for this.

2. Just goes to show you that Islam is not a peaceful religion.

What does it say about a group of people, or a religion that a group of people subscribe to more specifically, that if a country truly believes it is vesting in their own interest and puts a TEMPORARY ban on your COUNTRY (not religion, this is important) that you want to murder them? So for example if Germany banned all Americans from entering Germany because they believed there were to many Christians, would my first thought be, "Oh, those bastards. I feel the sudden urge to go murder them en mass now.".

No, it wouldn't. This just goes to show Trump is acting correctly by not letting barbaric religious zealots into a country that can't even manage to take care of it's own people, let alone religious zealots and economic migrants.

More lies about Trump banning Muslims propogated by the MSM. It's official: liberals are working directly with ISIS to help boost terrorism. They're even providing ISIS with talking points based on their fake news.

It is a 90-day ban on travel from seven Muslim-majority countries and a 120-day suspension of refugee admission, coming from a man who promised to ban Muslims during his campaign. Not only that, but Trump's team has promised more restrictions could be on the way. You better believe people are going to see it as a round-about ban on Muslims.

What people see and the truth are two completely separate things. The truth is that the MSM repeatedly lied and claimed this was a Muslim ban, thus providing a talking point for ISIS. The only way this could be more ridiculous is if Donna Brazile were leaking the story to ISIS before it hit the presses so that ISIS could be prepared. Leaking information is what she does best.

Right, barbarous zealots.

I bet you are one of those who believe this country just lets people in without any vetting.

How many terrorist attacks have been committed in this country by refugees since the Refugee Act of 1980? Oh, that's right, ZERO.

Isis inspired attacks killed over 60 Americans in the US in a 6 month period, from Dec 2015-June 2016. These were mostly Muslim Americans who carried out the attacks. What's the excuse for that?

Now that Trump is president, some people will conveniently lay blame at his feet if more Isis inspired attacks occur. Its bull****.

Trump has vowed to destroy Isis, and we all know that he has the temperament and fortitude to deliver on that promise.

If you prefer them calling it a Round-About Muslim Ban, I'm all for that.

Actually, unlike most people I am more concerned with the threat the average economic migrant poses as opposed to your rare mass murderer.

It is immoral to force US citizens to pay taxes for someone who refuses to assimilate and is an overall burden and detriment to society. Syria has a very low average IQ and so assuming that these people are going to assimilate and prosper is not only incorrect, but is cruel.

Just like how Bush vowed to rid the world of evil-doers? How did that work out? You guys really think you can bomb your way out of this one, too?

Well, your average Trumpkin sees a terrorist around every corner. They are an extremely paranoid group (no wonder they've latched onto Alex Jones).

Your assumption that a refugee would refuse to assimilate and be a detriment to society is at best laughable and at worst bigoted.

So much for being laughable...

It's not an assumption. There is historical precedent. Just because you're not willing to see how mass immigration from countries with cultural values that are very different, doesn't mean that there aren't complications. Assimilation only works if you do it in small amount by generation, this is not secret.

"So much for being laughable..."? I'm not sure what this is. Surely not an argument.

....this is where you present your evidence.

It means you are making a bigoted statement.

It means you are making a bigoted statement.

Most recently? Several parts of Europe have shown massive complications with assimilation.

I'm sorry, how is that a bigoted statement? Do you believe the average IQ of a country has NOTHING to do with the ability of said countries people being able to assimilate in an advanced western society?

But I can't wait to see what scholar you reference to support your claim that Syrians are unintelligent.

Just like how Bush vowed to rid the world of evil-doers? How did that work out? You guys really think you can bomb your way out of this one, too?

No reply about the first part of my comment?
Well you now have your future excuse plan at your disposal for future attacks; blame Trump, not Islam. Brilliant.

Trump has already proven that he's not the Republican Lite that Bush was. If he does manage to destroy Isis, what will your response be?

Most recently? Several parts of Europe have shown massive complications with assimilation.

Problems have been minimal for Europe, especially considering this immense crisis coming from Syria. Major terrorist attacks like the one in Paris were rumored to be refugee related, but turned out to false.

We allowed 70,000 refugees into the USA in 2015 alone. Please tell me what major problems with assimilation we've seen.

I'm sorry, how is that a bigoted statement? Do you believe the average IQ of a country has NOTHING to do with the ability of said countries people being able to assimilate in an advanced western society?

It is bigoted to assume the average Syrian is unintelligent (forget the fact IQ never was and never should be a factor in granting refugee status). But yeah, if they're 'dumb' we are better off as a race letting them get blown into pieces, right?

National IQ Scores - Country Rankings

Syria has an average IQ of 83 as opposed to the US, which has an average IQ of 98. This isn't really debated among any reputable psychologist.

That chart has Syria a point higher than India. Are Indians generally considered unintelligent?

The area in which their opinions differ is what exactly explains the lower IQ of certain countries.

Well, according to the average Trumpkin, it's genetics. Duh.

No, it is not bigoted to assume that. It is accurate to assume that the IQ of the average (KEYWORD AVERAGE) Syrian is 83. This poses MAJOR issues and is one of many factors that should be considered.

It is MUCH cheaper and more convenient for all parties to resettle immigrants in the ME. They are more used to the culture and are more likely to succeed in a climate where they can compete well. The average Syrian is not going to be able to effectively compete in a high-IQ western society or, at least, will find it very hard to do so.

You still don't seem to understand that the major problem isn't terrorist attacks. Those are horrible and petty crimes are also something to consider. The MAJOR issue (in my mind) is the economic upkeep. Immigrants from this part of the world take massive amounts of welfare and take way more in taxes than they put in. The state forcing the native population of any country to accept radical cultural changes and taxes to fund something not everyone voted for is highly immoral.

I agree with Bush/Hillary/Obama are fully responsible for creating this crisis. The average American, however, is not.

India is interesting because of the caste system, which is why you see this disparity.

I could get into what my specific beliefs are on what explains IQ disparities but that's a complete other topic...
