Former Jihadists/Experts: Trump Ban Is Boon For ISIS

India is interesting because of the caste system, which is why you see this disparity.

I could get into what my specific beliefs are on what explains IQ disparities but that's a complete other topic...

So are you saying then it is an issue of education?

Yet, you say they cannot be assimilated, which implies something more than lack of education...

Actually, unlike most people I am more concerned with the threat the average economic migrant poses as opposed to your rare mass murderer.

It is immoral to force US citizens to pay taxes for someone who refuses to assimilate and is an overall burden and detriment to society. Syria has a very low average IQ and so assuming that these people are going to assimilate and prosper is not only incorrect, but is cruel.

By that logic, people from these countries are practically incapable of assimilating :

These results are controversial and have caused much debate, they must be interpreted with extreme caution.

Which means; some people will get real angry and call us names when we accurately state the average IQ of the world's nations.

No, it is not bigoted to assume that. It is accurate to assume that the IQ of the average (KEYWORD AVERAGE) Syrian is 83. This poses MAJOR issues and is one of many factors that should be considered.

It is bigoted to assume that because someone is Syrian they do not have the intelligence to assimilate to another culture.

It is MUCH cheaper and more convenient for all parties to resettle immigrants in the ME. They are more used to the culture and are more likely to succeed in a climate where they can compete well. The average Syrian is not going to be able to effectively compete in a high-IQ western society or, at least, will find it very hard to do so.

Every American, not counting Native Americans, had an ancestor who assimilated to a new culture. We turned out alright.

You still don't seem to understand that the major problem isn't terrorist attacks.

That is the major problem according to the Trumpkins.

The MAJOR issue (in my mind) is the economic upkeep. Immigrants from this part of the world take massive amounts of welfare and take way more in taxes than they put in. The state forcing the native population of any country to accept radical cultural changes and taxes to fund something not everyone voted for is highly immoral.

It has never been a problem for this immigrant country turned to superpower.

I agree with Bush/Hillary/Obama are fully responsible for creating this crisis. The average American, however, is not.

The average American voted for at least one of those three and so at least shares some part of the responsibility.

So are you saying then it is an issue of education?

Yet, you say they cannot be assimilated, which implies something more than lack of education...

Cultures are not the same between India and Syria so it's not an accurate equivalent.

Of course it's more than JUST a lack of education. Certain cultures push education and deferral of gratification in greater amounts than others do. SOME of it can be ascribed to socioeconomic status but I don't really believe this stance because there are certain cities in Africa of similar socioeconomic status to those in America, yet African Americans are significantly more intelligent than the Africans from these towns and cities.

Surprise, surprise.

"It can play into their propaganda, to make it clear for anyone who could be in doubt, that it's a war on Islam and all Muslims," Abdullah told CNN over a messaging service.

"[Trump's] helped ISIS a lot, he's basically being a tool for them in a way," Abu Obaida, a British former Jabhat al-Nusra fighter in Syria, told CNN via direct message. "On social media right now there's a lot of people quoting Anwar al-Awlaki (the late spokesperson for al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula) and his last speech when he said that America will turn on the Muslims."

"By banning Muslims, lumping them with radical Islamism, Donald Trump provides ammunition and motivation for al Qaeda and ISIS," said Fawaz Gerges, chairman of contemporary Middle East studies at the London School of Economics and author of "ISIS: A History."

"The policy can easily be interpreted, and is being interpreted, as a ban against Muslims," Gerges said. "If you are serious about defeating ISIS, the last thing you want to do is portray the fight as Islam vs. the West."

"This isn't an isolated policy. Moving the embassy to Jerusalem. Calls for bringing back torture. All of these in combination amplify the rhetoric," Watts said. "Not only are we increasing recruitment, but we're making it harder for our partners around the world to fight with us against terrorism."

I wonder, when Trump is going to be removed by impeachment. He has done us more damage internationally than Johnson.

No, it means the data could very well be flawed.

You're trying to equate mass European immigration with immigration from Syria and I have no idea why. They are nothing near the same thing. Massively different cultural values and ideas.

And it has only been a week. Yay.

I personally think that countries with a lower IQ than my countries average IQ (Switzerland) shouldn't be allowed to immigrate here.

No, it means the data could very well be flawed.

Which is why Syrians lead the way in technological advancements.

Right, up is down, down is up, and the scientific method must be discarded if it interrupts your political beliefs.

There have been many immigrants from places other than Europe. Chinese culture, for example, is quite different from European culture. While Americans did put a temporary ban on Chinese immigration the Chinese really had no problem eventually assimilating to life in the states.

Not what I suggested. I suggest mass unchecked immigration from lower IQ countries is a big problem.

Lol. The Chinese and eastern/northern Asia as a whole have VERY HIGH average IQs so of course they assimilate well. They often do better than whites in our own country as they should (because IQ and success do correlate).

You are referring to IQ in the 21st century, I am referring to 19th century Chinese whose number could be very different.

I've got to go for the night, but I do hope we can continue this conversation some other time ;)

What are you suggesting ? What's your "lower IQ" threshold ? 85 ?
Do you test the IQ of every immigrant ? How ? How does the IQ test "manual" intelligence ?

Economic immigrants often work in fields & construction sites. I'm sure a lot of american farmers & industrial workers do not have an elevated IQ. In general, the IQ test doesn't properly asses ones capacity of doing hard work.

Integration is based on three things in my opinion :

A) Knowing the language
B) Having a job
C) Living like a local (local friends, local activities, participating in cultural activities etc.)

IQ is not a factor.

Germany alone has over 1,500 Syrian doctors.

But they're all dumb*****, right?

Because Syrian doctors are specicially fleeing the country to practice in Germany.

According to figures collected by the NGO, as of mid-January there had been 336 attacks on hospitals since the conflict began; 697 health-care workers had been killed. Three PHR investigators wrote in the New England Journal of Medicine last year, “Some personnel were killed in bombings of their hospitals or clinics; some were shot dead; at least 157 were executed or tortured to death.” In Aleppo specifically, more than two-thirds of hospitals have ceased functioning, and 95 percent of doctors are gone.

The population of Syria is 17,000,000 and most of their health care professionals are trying to leave, or have left. 1500 Syrians who happen to be doctors amounts to 0.008% of Syria's population.

Terrorist use any news as propaganda. If the US makes strong foreign policy they claim that the US want to destroy them and recruit people and if the US pulls back they claim the US is weak and ready to be destroyed and recruit people.

My question would be, "What isn't a boon for ISIS recruitment?"

It is a 90-day ban on travel from seven Muslim-majority countries and a 120-day suspension of refugee admission, coming from a man who promised to ban Muslims during his campaign. Not only that, but Trump's team has promised more restrictions could be on the way. You better believe people are going to see it as a round-about ban on Muslims.

Here's tomorrows excuse for rage in advance.

More lies about Trump banning Muslims propogated by the MSM. It's official: liberals are working directly with ISIS to help boost terrorism. They're even providing ISIS with talking points based on their fake news.

so you are saying trump banned sikhs? I dont think so.

The Muslims can thank ISIS for that. Have a nice day.
