But it's time to awaken to reality: US has a huge public debt, and trade disbalance.
What is the simplest solution ? To sell m ore, to buy less. It's so easy to understand. Hence . Trump's tariffs.
Recently I briefly discussed the "disaster" with a friend , and asked him: If Trump's policy is all wrong, what can you offer instead ?
He responded with: "I don't know. And nobody knows. "
So , what globalists fan boys can offer ? What ? Start another proxy war ? Spend another 200 billions on Ukraine?
May be start a global war ? Nuclear War ?
You have nothing to offer dear whineres. Just to whine and whimper. To whimper and whine.
And obstruct road traffic with pathetic paid demonstrations.

Throughout history, whenever there is a new type of communication medium, far right authoritarians (or people of a similar ideology before the term fascist was coined) were able to co-opt that medium for their right agenda until culture caught back up. Sometimes a nation falls to that authoritarianism and sometimes it doesn't. This isn't the only way countries fall to this ideology, but it is certainly one of the mechanisms. For example, your country fell to fascism by an entirely different means (wealth concentration, which also can result in a far right authoritarian situation). None of this cycle is new.

The cycles of history are there for anyone to read. Harris is our Von Hindenberg this time around. The details will never play out exactly the same, but a weakness in the liberal party making way for a far right authoritarian plays out over and over. You had Yeltsin playing the same role.

Every nation has a trade imbalance, and public debt. Can you explain why it's a bad thing? Neoliberal economics relies on debt, you literally can't find a functioning government or corporation without debt. And the idea that the highly industrialised US could have, or want, to seek trade parity with a nation like Madagascar is laughable.

I've seen this come up a few times in the last week. It must be a new talking point. If I had to guess, its because the far agenda kind of sucks for most people so they need to make it look like its the only game in town.

Yup. My hope is that the Ukraine war puts enough pressure on Russia's economy that the country falls and is balkanized or consumed in a civil war. While an unlikely possibility, it would effectively stop this nonsense and give better cultures a chance to return.

You're conflating two largely unrelated issues. The debt is not the result of the trade imbalance. The debt is the result of excess government spending. We'd have it with or without a trade imbalance.
