Umm, sure. They are not totally pissed off.
Have a good one.
Umm, sure. They are not totally pissed off.
That presumes the trade imbalance is a problem that requires fixing. I disagree with that as a general statement. What can you offer to fix trade balance ? Do nothing ?
Well perhaps Tump must have done this gradually , sequentially .That presumes the trade imbalance is a problem that requires fixing. I disagree with that as a general statement.
That said, I think there are some countries which do not create a level playing field with the US. The approach I would take is to select one or two of those countries and slap them with trade barriers that will seriously damage their economies. I would then ask the other unfair trading partners "would you like that to happen to you?" In other words, I would put a few heads on pikes as a warning to others rather than open with a global trade war.
There are governments that give their domestic businesses an unfair advantage by placing tariffs on our goods and/or subsidizing their own industries. I think it's worth targeting those countries, but that is not what Trump is doing.Well perhaps Tump must have done this gradually , sequentially .
What do you mean under “level playing Field “ ?
Do you have a list of such countries ?There are governments that give their domestic businesses an unfair advantage by placing tariffs on our goods and/or subsidizing their own industries. I think it's worth targeting those countries, but that is not what Trump is doing.
Off the top of my head, no.Do you have a list of such countries ?
Ok, Everything is bad blah, blah, blah. Markets are down, prices are up. State employees are losing their jobs.
But it's time to awaken to reality: US has a huge public debt, and trade disbalance.
What is the simplest solution ? To sell m ore, to buy less. It's so easy to understand. Hence . Trump's tariffs.
Recently I briefly discussed the "disaster" with a friend , and asked him: If Trump's policy is all wrong, what can you offer instead ?
He responded with: "I don't know. And nobody knows. "
So , what globalists fan boys can offer ? What ? Start another proxy war ? Spend another 200 billions on Ukraine?
May be start a global war ? Nuclear War ?
You have nothing to offer dear whineres. Just to whine and whimper. To whimper and whine.
And obstruct road traffic with pathetic paid demonstrations.
In the whole thread one or two posters tried to suggest something reasonable. The others , including the above blathering, are just pathetically fuming over and over. The moment you resorted to "globalist" on the back of half-baked economic theory and talking about Ukraine... again... is the moment the rest of us knew how "pathetic" this thread was going to be.

What is O.P. ?Only because your OP is worthless, which is why the rest of us are taking such enjoyment with it.
No one is fuming over and over, pure projection on your part.
It's not worthless. I disagree with Trump's approach to trade, but asking for a reasonable alternative is not unreasonable.Only because your OP is worthless, which is why the rest of us are taking such enjoyment with it.

No, we don't. You either have a viable alternative to offer or you do not. Which is it?We both know that is not the OP's goal.
What's the OP's goal. Go on.We both know that is not the OP's goal.
When did you check the last time the size of the Russian economy ?Thread summary: Russia likes its marionette.

I don't give a shit about your economy. You have your own dictatorship. I don't want the US to have one. When did you check the last time the size of the Russian economy ?
Russian has no money to pay for "marionettes". Not so much as American oligarchs.

Just take a breath and realize what a dumbness all this "asset" conspiracy theory you are pushing.
Where did I say or imply that? And you expect us to trust all this
Nobody is debating the state of Russian economy. It's you who are not keeping up. Russia has no resources to manipulate American POTUS or any other American politician forget these stupid conspiracy theories !!!!The Russian economy has stagnated, over the last several years has experienced spikes of negative GDP growth with awkward quick rebounds based on dumping assets. The projection for the next 5 years is minimal growth at best.
And all of what we know is sanitized then argued by Lord Putin.
