Reaping what they've sowed.Officially, Sweden doesn't keep a record of the languages its inhabitants speak. That fact was infuriating to Mikael Parkvall, a linguist at Stockholm University, so he decided to find out for himself. What is the most popular non-Swedish language in Sweden?
After poring over various statistics and studies, Parkvall came to a conclusion: Arabic was very likely to now be the second most popular language in the Scandinavian country.

It could be helpful selling machines to Arab countries.
It would be helpful if the ability to find an article and the ability to cut'n paste it were enhanced by the ability to read it.
Completely !!!
What I said.What's your issue?

Your point being? Demographics change, Sweden will still by far be the most spoken language.
Yeah, it's that simple....demographics change. No particular reason, they just started showing up suddenly, because a cold climate seemed attractive.
What you are apparently still missing is that the article in no way serves to make the point you are obviously pursuing.Yeah, it's that simple....demographics change. No particular reason, they just started showing up suddenly, because a cold climate seemed attractive.
Again what does it matter?
Destruction of culture is what you get when you allow uncontrolled migration.
Having to do with the content of the article cited in the OP what?Destruction of culture is what you get when you allow uncontrolled migration.

Like Saabs?
Parkvall's study focused on native languages rather than second languages
Now, Finnish is dwindling, with the majority of modern speakers -- Finnish immigrants who moved to Sweden in the 1960s and 70s -- dying out and their children speaking the language rarely, if at all.

For some reason people don't like being in the middle of war zones.
Who knew?
That doesn't give you special rights.
..............with the second most spoken language in Sweden actually being English :lol:The second most-widely spoken language in Mexico is Nahuatl. There you go. You reap what you sow.
Sure it does. The UN set up special provisions for persons fleeing war zones. Those provision are in fact special rights.
