Few Americans regularly use social-justice terms such as antiracism and toxic masculinity

More at the link with some pretty graphs.

When most Americans use those terms, it is with contempt. Maybe Yougov can lead Democrats in out of the tall weeds in left field? And, maybe not. I say leave them out there, so they don't brainwash real men and women any worse than they have. They can continue lecturing about LatinX, while real Latinos come into the Republican fold.
No way!! You discovered that the controversy fed to conservatives is a fraud? I can’t believe it!!

Has conservative media been lying to us?

I realize that you made a typo - but we are most certainly not experiencing an epidemic of birth flu. Americans to be extinct soon.
Kids are expensive and in the current environment many people are choosing not to have kids because of economics and conservative social upheaval. Maybe the GOP should address those polices of higher wages for child bearing middle class and working poor and tone down their social wars and then maybe couples will feel safe having kids.

how about just neighborhoods? If you are defining neighborhoods by ethnicity or nationality, you might be a segregationist.
New immigrants segregate themselves, or didn't you know that? My hometown was divided into four parts. Slovaks, Italians, Blacks, and Whites. Yes, seriously. I didn't grow up on the white side of town. Our grandfathers and great grandfathers segregated themselves, for a number of reasons, including neighbors who shared a common language. All other things being equal, would you rather live among people who speak your native language, or people who you can only communicate with through sign language and snippets of poorly understood words?

The only people who oppose discussions of these subjects are those who exhibit toxic traits or support racist/discriminatory ideas.

Most people don’t oppose discussions of these subjects, just leftist stupidity surrounding them:

The defining question is whether the discrimination is creating equity or inequity. If discrimination is creating equity, then it is antiracist. If discrimination is creating inequity, then it is racist.

Cisgender is a medical fact. It's anyone who isn't transgender or nonbinary. I'm fairly certain that you are cisgender. This is not a feminist term.

Are you equally offended by being called heterosexual? Or is that different?
There is no such thing as transgender or non binary. You are either male or female. Or a genetic aberration called intersex.

Social justice ideas such as the 14 and 19th Amendment, plus the 1964 Civil Rights Act?
No, they are not. I don't recall either amendment calling for racial discrimination or equality of outcomes, two of the central components of "social justice" orthodoxy.

All this thread points out is that Trump had a huge victory margin among the uneducated, whether formal or the self educated kind.
He had a small popular vote victory although It is true that he had an overwhelming win among those who use the work "ain't" regularly.

The terms listed are largely used primarily in academic or social justice context, and are not expected to be used in casual conversation. The lack of use of a particular term does not automatically equate to disapproval. I know what all of the terms mean, I don't use all of them, but I don't necessarily disagree with any of them.

That said, the Democratic party did not run on a terribly "woke" platform this time around. Kamala talked more about owning a gun then she did about trans people (who a point was made not to mention at all). Right-wing media did a good job of painting Kamala as some "socialist woke lefty DEI hire" by simply saying she was, but the platform she ran on was far from it (for better or for worse, depending on who you ask).

And yet you guys mounted an entire hysteria campaign (successfully, I might add) about hordes and legions of wussy social justice freek-ervators mobbing the streets, forcing trans surgeries on kids, eating pets, running child sex slave ops in pizza basements and that together with additional freakouts about "anti-racism, toxic masculinity and WOKE WOKE WOKE WOKE WOOOOOOOOOOOKE!!!!!!!!"

So yeah, the thing about the term WOKE is, it just means CIVIL RIGHTS, and "just don't be such a dick".
A handful of screaming Mimis is nothing to be afraid of but you guys turned it into a fifth column invasion.

You boys seem very very sensitive to labels and slogans if they don't originate from your think tanks.
Are these social justice warriors in the room with us now, Karen?

Few Americans know how to talk about their own sexual, mental and emotional health, too.

Number of times wife has had to ask for clarification on 'down there' is approaching infinity.

Why does the Right insist on making up leftist stances?

Because BILLIONS OF DOLLARS has been invested in doing exactly that and it worked according to the folks who forked over their money for it.

What do you think Kendi's Alexa score is on the internet?
By that I mean, how popular is this guy and his work?
Give me a guess, because I seem to have missed all the hoopla so if Democrats are seeking his wise counsel on all matters how come we barely if ever hear about him unless it's Rush Limbaugh or Joe Rogan or Alex Jones?

Okay, I actually agree with the broader point behind OP's post.... but I laughed :p

I think I already invoked the phrase "Just don't be a dick" in this thread.
That encompasses most of my views on race relations, sexuality, faith, civil rights, equality, diversity, etc.

We just voted to give more power to the kinds of people who would steal a handicap parking space from my wife (seen in my avatar this week) and laugh about it and you MAGA's are taking that and inflating it into some temper tirade about WOKE.

Just be less of a dick and act a little more kind and generous, okay?

Anyone else in the lib world agree with that view?

Most people are just out there leading their lives and so do not spend their time posturing away over imaginary transgressions.

What are real men, women and Latinos?
As for the term anti racism and toxic masculinity being used, that depends whether we want to engage in factual discussions.
You see, facts are out there. We can move forward if we acknowledge them instead of brushing them under the rug.
If we didn't, blacks would still go through the back door, homosexuals would be locked up for gross indecency and women would be walking behind their husbands.
Btw, Latinx doesn't work.
