The six-month election recount that turned former "Saturday Night Live" comedian Al Franken into a U.S. senator may have been decided by convicted felons who voted illegally in Minnesota's Twin Cities.
That's the finding of an 18-month study conducted by Minnesota Majority, a conservative watchdog group, which found that at least 341 convicted felons in largely Democratic Minneapolis-St. Paul voted illegally in the 2008 Senate race between Franken, a Democrat, and his Republican opponent, then-incumbent Sen. Norm Coleman.
The final recount vote in the race, determined six months after Election Day, showed Franken beat Coleman by 312 votes -- fewer votes than the number of felons whose illegal ballots were counted, according to Minnesota Majority's newly released study, which matched publicly available conviction lists with voting records.
Furthermore, the report charges that efforts to get state and federal authorities to act on its findings have been "stonewalled."
"We aren't trying to change the result of the last election. That legally can't be done," said Dan McGrath, Minnesota Majority's executive director. "We are just trying to make sure the integrity of the next election isn't compromised."

Gigi Gaston, a writer/director who has made a documentary outlining the rampant voter fraud perpetrated by the Obama campaign during the 2008 primaries against Hillary Clinton. Gaston is a lifelong Democrat whose grandfather was a Democratic governor of Massachusetts...
Gaston is not some partisan hack but someone who cares deeply about the election process and democracy. Gaston presents compelling evidence in We Will Not Be Silenced that Barack Obama was selected by the DNC, not elected by the people.
Senator Clinton, by all accounts, except caucuses, won the Primary Election and, therefore, should be the 2008 Democratic Nominee. That didn't happen, due largely to illegitimate and illegal acts. We have interviews of many accounts from caucus states recounting threats, intimidation, lies, stolen documents, falsified documents, busing in voters in exchange for paying for "dinners," etc. There are at least 2000 complaints, in Texas alone, of irregularities directed towards the Obama Campaign...

341 convicted felon votes, 312 being the difference in the election. To be the deciding factor, the felons would have had to break like 90% towards Franken. When was the last time any demographic broke that hard in a Senate race?

How do they know this? Voting is anonymous, yes?The finding was that Franken received at least 341 counted votes by felons. All of those ballots should have been cast out, because it was illegal for those felons to vote.

:lamo You think that they voted for Coleman? Come on man! No one is that naive.

The felon demographic has always historically voted left.
as does the deceased. :ssst:
Soon to be joined by the illegals.
What a voting bloc liberal have.

I would imagine that it is public to see who voted initially, but not whom they voted for until you find that they were a felon, and ineligible to cast a vote, then you may be able to see who.

Blacks?!?!?
So are you more concerned with this specific race or with the voting fraud that was perpetrated on the people of Minnesota? Convicted felons being able to vote is a problem - no matter who they vote for. Franken won because of voting fraud. If you think that the felons would actually vote for the conservative candidate, you simply aren't thinking.
Altouhg most conservatives would like to see Franken thrown out and replaced with the real winner of the election, this isn't going to happen. What I want to see is voter fraud prosecuted to the fullest extent - no matter who commits it. The integrity of an election must remain in tact and when things like this are allowed to happen, the people lose, not the candidates.

It says a lot about the conservative mind when it doesn't occur to them that conservatives also commit crimes.
I think it says more about you casting a wide net of bigotry here.
You guys are the ones suggesting that 92% of felons are liberals.

I have????
See edit: Not one conservative has said otherwise so far. Sorry if I incorrectly grouped you with the lunatics.
Amen! If Franken and the Dems are behind it all, prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law!
However, you should probably consider removing your post. Given the raging partisanship of this thread thus far, your common sense and penchant for intelligent discourse has no place here, methinks.
