Trump is like the stupidest criminal ever.
John Oliver called this "stupid Watergate."
Trump is like the stupidest criminal ever.
Hmmmm...."tapped" before the raid?...I think we need to see the warrant application, to see who ordered it.

It would be kinda stupid to wiretap him after the raid. lol
Please direct me to the correct thread where you jumped all over Trump for falsifying two of his health reports, even after he and other Republicans made Clinton's health a discussion point of the 2016 campaign. Matter of fact, just link to the thread where you were outraged over the fact that Trump and everybody on his campaign lied about their connections to Russian interests one hundred percent of the time.
I know it's difficult for your highly partisan brain but;
"Feds tapped phones of Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, and caught one call with White House: NBC News"
is the threads topic. Focus

Really. How do you feel about a SoS that made a private server to avoid FOIA requests? Or the administration that turned down the most FOIA requests and used the FISC system to spy on political enemies? How do you feel about the issues with the IRS being used as a political weapon? How about Clapper, Koskinen, Lerner, Brennan, Powers, Rice, and Obama all publicly lying about substantial policy or under oath at one time or another? You must have hated that...oh wait, you didn't post anything until recently despite having joined in 2006.
Your silence speaks volumes. Partisanship is thy game, hallowed be its name.....https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lois_Lerner#FBI_finds_no_evidence_to_support_criminal_prosecution
....FBI finds no evidence to support criminal prosecution
The U.S. DOJ and the FBI began an investigation into the IRS controversy in May 2013.[30] In October 2015, the DOJ announced it was closing the investigation and would not seek criminal charges.[1] The determination came after an investigation of almost two years, in which the DOJ and FBI interviewed more than 100 witnesses and reviewed more than a million pages of IRS documents.[1]In a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte, (R) of Virginia, announcing the case closure,....] Kadzik stated that the investigation specifically absolved Lerner of criminal liability, and determined that Lerner was in fact the first official to recognize a problem and try and correct it.[1][32]Reactions ..were split along partisan lines.....

Here’s the key graf from NBC’s updated story:
"The calls are logged by what is commonly referred to as a pen register, which records the number of the phone that made the call and the number that received it, but does not record the contents of any conversation."
This is still wrong. As one U.S. district court noted, “Basically, a pen register is a device or process which records the telephone numbers of outgoing calls; the trap and trace device captures the telephone numbers of incoming calls.” So, what NBC has described is a pen/trap situation–not simply a pen register.

Stand corrected, hangar4. It was not a tap but looking at phone logs.
Trump will start screaming now that Obama's deep state had his wires tapped again.
I refer you to my post #90
Apology accepted.
Who is you people? Republicans and career DOJ officials in Trump's own DOJ? The prosecutors in Giuliaani's former office in New York? This isn't a liberal or anti-trump thing, it's DOJ pursuing obvious criminals. The longer this plays out, means the longer embarrassing things come out about the investigators themselves...Trump's numbers are on the rise, which to me points to this thing backfiring on you people....You're making Trump look like a victim.
Outrageous. Thanks for the update...I hadn't heard that....But, yes....Muller, and his team...have threatened to go after Ivanka if they don't get their way, which is their M.O...ie, Flynn....It's pretty dirty....
Even when they are issuing a "correction", NBC can't get it right.
And people wonder why the media can't get any respect.
NBC News Corrects Story on Monitoring Cohen's Phones - The New ...
https://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2018/05/03/us/ap-us-tv-nbc-cohen.html
1 hour ago - NBC had attributed its original story to two anonymous sources with knowledge of the legal proceedings against Cohen. In the editor's note preceding the rewritten story, NBC explains that three senior U.S. officials disputed the account, saying that the phones were monitored by a pen register, which ...
Some 'facts' are harder to check than others and I imagine that sealed court orders would be among them. Also it depends on what the sources told them and how reliable they had been in the past. It could have been a simple misunderstanding as I would bet till today most people here have never heard of a "pen register' before and would naturally assume that any sort of phone surveillance would be of the 'wire tap' variety.
Then they shouldn't have published the story.
Rudy Giuliani promotions of Bernard Kerik - Wikipedia

Rudy Giuliani, as mayor of the City of New York, promoted the career of Bernard Kerik (by appointment or recommendation) on several occasions. Critics have charged that Giuliani showed consistently poor judgment in doing so. Contents. [hide]. 1 History of promotions; 2 Briefing of Giuliani; 3 Effect on Giuliani presidential ...
It is not as if Giuliani, a former SDNY U.S. Attorney, or you, have overreacted? What exactly is your grievance with the reporting journalists?
Is it not true, that at all times with regard to this reporting, they have reported what they know, as they know it at the time?
I assume you are not attempting to deflect from the central point, that there is enough probable cause supporting criminal activity by Cohen, to influence judges to sign warrants
presented by SDNY investigators intent on holding Cohen accountable for criminal activity the probable cause evidence indicates?
You shouldn't underestimate the capacity of Trump to hire the best people... Cohen, Giuliani, ...etc.

Keep reaching.
Outrageous.
That's why nepotism should be strictly prohibited. Because if dragging unqualified family into the highest levels of government magically makes them immune to justice in your eyes, because they family...when nepotism is frowned on precisely because of those conflicts of interest...
She chose to make herself part of the government.
Trump chose to let her.
She's an educated adult.
They should nail her to the wall if she's dirty, just like the rest of the players.
The lack of ethics to suggest that they should not because she's "family" is breathtaking. And expected. Shame on you.
Tipping point? lol. What are Republicans gonna do, put a criminal in the white house or something?
If you are making "they shouldn't have" determinations,
You shouldn't underestimate the capacity of Trump to hire the best people... Cohen, Giuliani, ...etc.
Then direct me to the correct thread where he changed he and his lawyers changed their stories about the Stormy Daniels payment countless times. I know honesty is important to you, so surely that issue must have outraged you.

So then this is just another failed we-got-him-this-time story?
Keep digging that partisan hole Cardinal, all I asked was a simple discussion question. Your 'all things anti-Trump' is affecting your ability the focus clearly.
