Federal investigators on Wednesday morning seized electronic devices from lawyer Victoria Toensing, who is a close associate of former Mayor Rudy Giuliani, a source familiar with the events said.

The move came around the same time investigators executed a search warrant at Giuliani’s Manhattan apartment and office.

Agents came to Toensing’s Washington, D.C.,-area home, confiscated her phone and left without searching the house, the source said.

It is certainly not illegal to be a lobbyist for a foreign country

So now we know that Mr. Giulliani was not warned that he was dealing with Russian agents.
Just like Mr Trump was not warned in 2016 that Russia was trying to infiltrate his campaign.

I'm no expert on campaign laws and whatever else might apply here. Apparently, the DOJ has felt it bears investigating for awhile now but T****'s buddy Barr kept the subpoenas from being served.

I don't see any abuse of power in moving forward on it now.
