Love this logic. I'm going to make things up to smear you and then claim that you didn't discredit them. The old, "tell me when you stopped hitting your wife" argument. There's no evidence of the alleged conduct, and parties involved all deny it, but a paid propaganda piece makes an unfounded allegation and you're too attached to it to let it go.

We all know the history of the Clinton campaign and DNC where they funneled money through intermediary law firms to fund foreign spies. This was done to create a false dossier and push a Russian collusion narrative prior to the election. The problem with this, beyond the foreign collusion in our election, is that they lied on their FEC filings to hide the fact that they were behind the false dossier used to smear their opponent. FEC found the money trail and has now fined the two entities for misreporting how they actually spent their money.

Federal election laws prevent campaigns from getting "anything of value" from foreign governments/individuals. The fact that the DNC and HFA campaign paid for this fake report makes it meet the burden of "anything of value".

Unlike Trump when he may have asked foreign governments or individuals for campaign dirt, he didn't offer any money, therefor it doesn't meet the burden of "anything of value".

When Trump asked the Ukraine to investigate Hunter Biden's dealings there, and threatened to withhold funds, it was as his official capacity as President. We never give out money with no strings attached, the whole point of foreign aid is to bend other nations into doing what we want. Now the argument can be made that Trump was acting as incumbent campaigner for reelection and only trying to dig up dirt on his chief political rival, but that ship sailed with the failed convection for his impeachment.

The US never wants to send money to a nation that is going to squander it with corrupt patronage jobs for well connected people, and Trump as President had every right to ensure our money went to the aid it was earmarked by Congress, not to enrich crooks.
 
Trump's lawsuit just grew legs.

So, this proves the link to the Clinton campaign with the Steele Dossier? And the Steele Dossier was used to get the FISA warrant to spy on the Trump campaign? And the FBI knew the Steele Dossier was not legitimate and used it as evidence for a warrant anyway? Lot's of wrongdoing here...

I guess we shouldn't be surprised that the Democrats here are trying to ignore this.

This stuff goes on all the time, and far worse, it cuts across party lines.

The level of corruption in our governments has risen with the level of "funding". Anytime big money is at stake you will find corruption if you look, we just don't have any independent investigation or law enforcement agency because the heads of those agency's are political appointees.

Are your local police going to investigate the mayor when the police chief is his appointee?

Maybe the state police will investigate a local mayor, but will they investigate the governor of the state?

Maybe the FBI will investigate the governor of the state, but will they investigate a President?

So, at the Federal level, who is left to investigate?

We see these independent investigators being appointed by some political appointee, and even if they do their jobs the way they are supposed to, it's still up to the Congress to impeach and hold trial. Congress is completely political, and deeper than that they never want to see even members of the other party really held to account for corruption, because they are corrupt and they don't want anybody investigating them.

We need police and investigators appointed by the judicial branch of government, but in order for that to work as well as it can judicial brach people need to be elected so we can as a people hold them to account come Election Day, but I will ad that they should not be the member of any political party, they must run a truly independent grass roots campaign for office.

Well, there absolutely WAS a dossier. That part is unquestionably true. The not true part was all the stuff that was contained in the dossier. So, technically, you're 100% right...other than the being wrong part.
