Again, I suggest the possibility that MAGA would approve if Trump followed Putin's MO and simply jailed those that say things about Trump that he dislikes.
Why be half a dictator? Go all in and shut down all dissent with prison.

I think Trump and FCC Chair Carr are attempting to implement Lèse-majesté laws.

Further to the point, here are the words of a prominent conservative:

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public. Nothing but the truth should be spoken about him or any one else. But it is even more important to tell the truth, pleasant or unpleasant, about him than about any one else."

It's just going to get more and more unpresidential here on out. Not precendental mind you. Just It's getting down to Trumps sunset years and going to get way more petty and way more personal about it

It isn't the platform or company that is making the threats, it is the government. That is the huge, glaring difference here. The government is threatening to pull licenses, screw over mergers and more to keep unkind or critical words about Trump or others on the right off the airs, out of the media. That is censorship in every authoritarian country utilizing it, as it is here.

Kimmel lied about evidence and the Charlie Kirk assassination. He was ordered to retract his lies he refused. I don't put it past the view of doing the exact same thing.

You probably tell this lie and want to believe it desperately.

The lie that Jimmy needed to retract when it's when he said that Charlie Kirk's assassin was right when that is false. Do you believe in this falsehood and himself that's why FCC intervened because you are believing falsehoods.

Jimmy Kimmel produced misinformation.
 
The View is far from a "bona fide news program" mentioned in the exemption. Its a bunch of loud cows mooing. Is there an exemption for that?
