And who checks the fact checkers...
Reality doesn't necessarily have balance.
You're referring to Snopes benefactor George Soros? Billionaire Soros, who intentionally distorts and bends the media to his liberal will? Or liberal Politifact? We have only to trust one liberal fact checking organization after another? Each competing to move left of the other.
You make your case, we'll make ours in this free-marketplace of ideas. We'll see who brings the facts to the table?... And we won't need some Soros-funded bunch of partisan's, like leftists do. Truth, is plain for all to see.

reality and here lies the problem. When people believe something that is not true no amount of fact checking will help because they will simply dismiss the fact checker, thus causing the fact checkers in many cases to either become more partisan or try to show the fictional idea of balance. Reality doesn't necessarily have balance.

What I find ironic about this is that people like your friend often get quite upset if you call them on their absurd propaganda. "If you don't like what I post then feel free to defriend me. Gahhhh!!! :2mad:"I find that people only agree with fact checkers when the "facts," go in their own favor.
Facts, schmacks. People believe what they want to believe, truth be damned.
I asked one of my Limbaughnaut type friends, in Austin, TX, why she kept posting that "over-the-top," ridiculous propaganda, that had long been debunked, on her FaceBook page. She replied, "Last I heard I was a Texan and this is America. I am free to believe what I want to believe."
That about says it all, I suppose. :coffeepap
