"Everyone is corrupt!"

I was listening to a podcast (Ezra Klein) and the guest was Margaret Atwood. She's the author of "A Handmaid's Tale". I was really impressed by her. She's very thoughtful and she views the world differently than I do, which I appreciate. As a story teller, she's attuned to the importance of stories from a common story that binds a nation together to the stories we tell ourselves about ourselves. She had also spent a lot of time behind the Iron Curtain and a lot of how living in an authoritarian society is based on those experiences. When she wrote A Handmaid's Tale, she incorporated this information and tried to imagine what an authoritarian America would look like.

I highly recommend you check it out, it's great, but something she said stuck with me and it was kind of an epiphany. They were talking about people that did good things for others. During her research, Atwood said something that stood out for people that did good things, like hid jews from Nazi's or help persecuted people escape, they always said they acted that way because that's how they saw themselves. They saw themselves as a "good person" and a good person wouldn't let someone be sent to a concentration camp.

It made me realize why it's so important for people in power to throw out lies and justifications. Ask someone, "would you support a politician making 100's of millions of dollars from their office" and most people would say no. They have to lie to their selves to justify it, to pretend they are a good person. "All politicians are corrupt, so I'm still a good person supporting this blatantly corrupt person".

There's so many examples of where you see people supporting very bad things. The justification is bogus, it's not believable for anyone looking at things rationally. When you're trying to justify your support for those policies though, well, then it's a lifeline. It gives you a way to support bad things and still see yourself as a good person.

She's a brilliant author. Two Booker's to her credit. A brilliant person.
If you get a chance look for Oryx and Crake.

Yes, it's always amazing how people justified themselves supporting and covering up things under the Biden administration. With the authoritarian/totalitarian actions of mandating an experimental vaccine, subverting SC decisions and working to pay off student debt when told it was unconstitutional, the clear and present signs of the decline of Biden, evident to everybody except the left and cohorts, to the covering and purposeful ignoring the outright corruption of the Biden family.

Yet, we have a large group of people who sat by and allowed themselves to be brainwashed into believing Russiagate prior, so they were already primed into believing whatever the 'establishment' wanted them to believe. Remarkable, now forward to today, these same people are now attempting to put this upon their political opposition......it's remarkable to watch.

Paying off student debt isn't something that a "good person" would feel bad about. You may have issues with it, where does the money come from and how is it feasible, but it's not an evil action.

I wish Trump was only as corrupt of the Biden family. I wish Trump's brand of "subverting SC decisions" was similar to Biden's.

This is what I'm talking about, let me guess, the Democrats are so evil that anything is justified? If Trump suspended elections in 2 years would you support that? I'm guessing you could be persuaded to supporting the end of democracy and still see yourself as anything other than the supporter of tyranny. I'm sure you'd still talk about how you defend the constitution and the rule of law while doing it.

Propagandists who have accusing us of everything they are is a joke. Trump is not going to suspend elections in 2 years, stop imagining things or parroting what you hear. Neither is Trump attempting to "end democracy".....woowoowhee, whatever this means, besides the high moral ground. We just got out of a tyrannical disaster with a dunce as a puppet, run by who knows, who damn near destroyed our national sovereignty. Law and order.....what the hell was that the last four years, nutcases on the loose, raping, pillaging, looting to their hearts desire......Jeesh, come back when your side has some serious candidates with favorable policies, until then the "See who can bash the Trump Train" is long done and over.

If you really believe what you're writing, then it's hard to imagine anyone wearing a more opaque blindfold than you are. Though as one of Trump's sheep, it's easy to see how you'd have the wool pulled over your eyes. There is zero evidence of any corruption on the part of president Biden, and conversely, more and more incidence of breathtaking corruption on the part of the Trump crime family, his friends and his administration seem to appear every day since his inauguration. Trump's well recorded illegal financial shenanigins date back more than 50 years, so he has no right to be given any benefit of the doubt. Only a completely hornswoggled fool thinks Trump's hands are clean. Here is just a very recent examples of his ever expanding Kleptocracy.

Just like how governing was second nature to a man with Biden's extensive experience (something he could easily maintain with minimum time and effort) Trump's equally well worn neural pathways for ripping people off continues to facilitate the ease he has in adopting new and better scams for fleecing his fawning flock. There have already been numerous examples of Trump's cognitive deterioration (he seems to broadcast more and more on an almost daily basis) but his sychophantic cohorts are far too busy profiting from his actions to expose his steep mental decline.

It's really stupid to keep bringing up "Russiagate" when Trump's campaign connections to Russia run longer than both my arms and legs. If he had not been investigated for those connections, it would have amounted to severe deriliction of duty.

"By April 19, 2019, The New York Times had documented that "Donald J. Trump and 18 of his associates had at least 140 contacts with Russian nationals and WikiLeaks, or their intermediaries, during the 2016 campaign and presidential transition."

And when his own son Don Jr. was questioned about how and from where they managed to continue to get financing for their projects when every single American based bank had already cut his daddy off, Junior said, on camera, that they had no problem getting money because their Deutsche Bank loans were being underwritten by Russian money! Trump's properties had already been used in money laundering schemes for Russian oligarchs decades earlier. To NOT investigate Trump for his Russian connections would have amounted to criminal negligence by the Justice Department!

we don't know when Elections may be suspended. but are Elections even relevant anymore with the Real Control of the Country in the hands of the Oligarchy?

they can just put their own puppets into the 'election' and call it a win for them.

so yeah, i would be amazed if we still have elections, but they know how to Fake anything, look at the news from both sides. and be honest, as least a little?

learn about Dark Maga. how come nobody mentions this: https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffab&q=Dark+Maga+is+technocracy&ia=web under Dark Maga, you do not need Elections or Democracy.

that is what we WILL be getting.

doesn't matter if he suspends elections or not. they can fake Anything with the Oligarchs putting their people and winning the faked Election....easy peasy.
