A short while after the Baroness Jay report was released, we have another inquiry and this time focusing specifically on grooming gangs.
It's bound to be a hot topic here in the UK as the ethnicity of the gangs will be a main subject for discussion (and it should hopefully also include the ethnicity of the victims)

Just as I and many others pointed out many years ago here on the forum: the vast majority of perpetrators of child abuse are white men, and the perpetrators of child sexual exploitation are over-represented by Pakistani muslim males.

Baroness Casey said:
"If you look at the data on child sexual exploitation, suspects and offenders, it's disproportionately Asian heritage.
"If you look at the data for child abuse, it is not disproportionate, and it is white men.

Either way, I hope this doesn't just point fingers at muslim men but points out the horrible statistics of child abuse for kids, whatever colour and sets about real change for all our kids.

These Muslim men target British children in a display of racial and cultural superiority. They call the children "easy meat" to show their contempt.

Those who defend them in any way are complicit in their actions.

Post #2 shows you how it plays, @Infinite Chaos .
Go back through any threads about this subject and it's always the same person and posting manner. Never was interested in any of the non-white victims, never was interested in how damning child abuse is - always just a focus on muslims.

Yes, you are both complicit as you indulge in nothing but apologetics.

It 's good that Starmer has backed down.

The facts revealed by the enquiry will determine which way fingers are pointed. It is probable that Muslim grooming gangs will be one group. And that the vast array of counsellers, officials, MPs and police who covered up this national scandal over something like 20 years, in the interest of 'community relations', will be codemned, I ope to long terms of imprisonment.

Men are abusing children. Usually, men who are known to those children. If you need to blame strangers to sleep at night, you do you. It's not ideal, but you're not my problem.

I would prefer that societies start to wrestle with how to break the cycle, how to heal victims, and how to treat and forestall offenders.

As a man who was once a beaten, tortured, and sexually assaulted child, I will only add that I got lucky, as odd is that is to write and probably is to read. I cannot relive memories, visualize anything, or re-experience the past. This is not true for 98% of the human race, and the victims of sexual abuse, childhood violence, trauma and the secrecy and shaming that often follow need everyone to step into the breach, to make time and space, to fund and protect havens for recovery.

Your way of targeting others for perceived difference just makes more victims, and perpetuates the cycle of harm.

This is all about grooming GANGS, and not individuals acting on their own sick impulses. Heinous as they are, rapes that are not the product of coordinated actions do not qualify as grooming GANGS

The majority of actual grooming GANGS are Pakistani and the overwhelming majority of their victims are people indigenous to Britain.

Indigenous. You gave it away there.

Any answers to why the right-wing government allowed this to go on?
The inquiry will probably address this question along with many others. It is a good one.

Another investigation? How about some arrests eh?

Same old bollocks, never a whit of concern for the victims of these evil gangs.
My goodness, you attack anybody who actually opposes them and then claim this shit? Is anybody actually stupid enough to believe you?

.....oops. Too late.

Come back when you actually have a real concern about the victims of these evil gangs. 10 years ago, you spent the time pontificating at me rather than the gangs and nothing has changed.

Baroness Casey used figures from the police services that kept ethnic statistics of he perpetrators - sadly it was only a few police forces. This time around, there needs to be a serious look at forces and councils where they shied away from pointing out the groups were usually Pakistani men.

Ethnicity is irrelevant. Even if they are of Pakistani decent, they are most likely British citizens. Pedophilea is a problem generally in society regardless of religion or ethnicity.

Apparently a fair number are asylum seekers or don't have status to stay. There's already talk of getting them out of the country once their sentences are fnished.
I get what you're saying about paedophilia but this report focuses on the gangs and sexual exploitation. Baroness Jay's report dealt with paedophilia more broadly - this one is about including holding people to account that shied away from pointing out the high proportion of Pakistani men involved.

And soon they will have more inquiries into the inquiries because inquiring is what they do.

So the UK allows asylum from a country that is at peace...makes no sense. And if they have no status to stay, then deport them.. Pakistan is a safe country.

Yea of course...let's see

More broadly..sounds like a cop-out.

this one is about including holding people to account that shied away from pointing out the high proportion of Pakistani men involved.
Which should already covered by the previous report. Singling out a specific ethnicity is just pure racism fire.

But why not look into Christian Priests? Or the upper classes? Or religious cults like Jehovas Witnesses?

Seems to me that reports like the new one is just there to put more fuel on the fire of racism.
