Well I'm on the left and I can verify demonstrably, certifiably, incredibly truly that we never make a decision without a ouiji board. Interested, not concerned, about a Pence candidacy.

Pence and wife are originals with the Armband Christian Right. We know these fanatics are an integral part of Trump's base, which is the major reason Manafort talked Trump into putting Pence on the ticket. Trump knew he had to keep Pence on the ticket -- which Trump knows cost him everything on J6 and Trump said as much at the time.

Some of the evangelical right are bailing on Trump cause he's a loser but Trump knows Pence isn't going anywhere (either) trying to win the Madhouse Party nomination or to win in the general election. Yet in the state primaries and the onstage debates Pence is a steady, stable presence who I believe could withstand most of Trump's flamethrowing bombast against him.

That is if Trump chooses to go the flamethrower route against Pence who is a sacred cow on the religious right. Methinks Trump knows he'd need to be careful about his contempt of Pence because of Pence's profound standing among his fellow religious zealots. Indeed, I expect Pence to forgive Trump openly and proceed to be his calm and holy, self righteous self despite any Trump possible onslaught. Trump may find himself having to tread lightly on Pence though.

This is in contrast to DeSantis who will go to pieces once Trump starts nuking him on stage and in the campaigning throughout the states. Neither will come out of it whole however. Voters not in the Party may cast a curse on both their houses for whichever gets the nomination.
