Patriot Front, a white supremacist group with members across the U.S., marched in New York on Saturday, according to several videos posted to social media. That march caused many X users to insist, without evidence, that Patriot Front is actually a fake group started by the FBI to stir unrest in the country. X owner Elon Musk even joined in on the conspiracy theory speculation, suggesting a photo showing Patriot Front members getting arrested in 2022 was somehow suspicious.

“This does seem odd. Why no mask removal after arrest?” Musk tweetedon Saturday in response to an X user called Champagne Joshi.

Joshi referred to the hate group as “Fed Front,” asking in a tweet, “How many times have you seen a group of masked men dressed exactly the same, handcuffed with not one masked pulled off to reveal their identity? This is aimed at gullible libtards who want to believe these are ‘white nationalists’ bc it affirms their worldview and it’s an election year.”


But there’s no evidence that Patriot Front is anything but a white supremacist organization, as defined by the ADL. And despite their face coverings, the identities of many Patriot Front members were revealed have become public knowledge in recent years.

The purpose of undercover FBI agents (or informants, which are much more numerous) is to convince people to commit crimes, not stage goofy demonstrations in public. While there are certainly federal informants (and possibly a few agents) in Patriot Front, they are certainly a minority. The same is true of every dissident political organization.

Whoever they are, they don't seem to do anything except sometimes march to some events, stand around, then march away. Sometimes a weird little guy with a megaphone makes stupid statements.

Whatever they are, they just appear to be play-acting to no effect...except to give the Left grounds to say "See, there ARE 'White Supremacists' who support Trump and MAGA."

They have never been acknowledged by Trump, or anyone else in the movement. And Trump has consistently denied any such association.

So, their effort at "guilt by association" is a farce only supported by those who want to make it seem like Trump and supporters are Nazis and White supremacists. Despite growing numbers of Black, Latino, Asian, and other minority supporters clearly showing that is B.S.
