El Salvador’s President Says He Won’t Return Man Who Was Mistakenly Deported

Trump spoke with Bukele, obviously, and that's about all he can do. That's also pretty much the limit of what ANY court can instruct him to do.

Another country's leader told him "no." A leader we PAY for services. We can withhold payment. So POTUS has no negotiation skills at all? Just takes it? And smiled and fawned.

So you're saying that the leader of the most powerful nation in the world can't get someone back from the very same nation it's paying to house migrants?
🤭

I mean, if El Salvador can tell the US to pound sand, then the negotiations with Russia are hopeless. No wonder they just attacked Ukraine; they smell the fear of the US paper tiger.
😉

What an incredibly dumb post!
Garcia would be back in the US within 24 hours if the felon called Bukele and told him to release the prisoner.

The whole point of deporting these people, including US citizens, is to keep them out of the reach of US courts.

Keep this in mind when someone you care about suddenly disappears.
When you combine an unwillingness to right the wrong with a willingness to send US citizens there, it's pretty easy to see where Trump wants to take this.

You know full well Trump did not ask for Garcia back. Or do you actually think Trump is so weak he cannot demand a wrongly imprisoned man back from a 3rd world country?

That is one way to admit you do not know what was actually said.
Good for you. (y)

And you still haven't made a point. That's a great way for you to pretend you've done more than listen to Stephen Miller beclown himself on Fox News.

I think the remedy that the Court should impose, is to bar the government from paying El Salvador. This will dry up El Salvador's incentive to house these individuals.
Pretty sure that’s beyond the court’s authority.

But not Congress’.

Dems ought to introduce a bill to withhold all U.S. aid, in every form, to El Salvador until the El Salvadoran government releases Garcia for return to the United States.

The bill should include language that leans heavily on Traitor Trump’s and the MAGAt lead Congressional constant refrain of being “the party of law and order”, devoted guardians of our Constitution, etc..

Force Traitor Trump and his MAGAt toadies to publicly acknowledge their ownership for illegally deporting Garcia, and leaving him to rot in an El Salvadoran, because they lack the integrity and spine to use the massive economic and political leverage the United States, the most post powerful country the world has ever known, has over the weak, corrupt, third-world banana republic.

As I only made a suggestion to you I do not know why you are bringing in Fox News or Stephen Miller into this discussion, but your responses just showed you don't have a clue as too what you speak ... at least in regards to this specific.

I’m just putting as much work into my responses as you are. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Is that what you think? That's nice.
Apparently you do not like legitimate advice. That's on you.

but not answers. Cowardly evasions.
Your opinion is pathetic.
What you are saying is that you are being a coward every time you fail to answer a question. Correct?
That position is absurdly idiotic regardless of to whom it is applied.

Even though my replies were on topic, no one has to answer any question. Period.

Not answering specific questions has not a damn thing to do with cowardness. But your thoughts are so stupid you do not understand that.

Yes, of course I did. Citations and all.
Wrong as usual and not even paying attention to the argument made.
As previously pointed out, you posted reports with the false claim you were arguing. That is not "proving" anything but a a lack of logical thinking on your part. Had you bother to inform yourself of the topic you chose to engage in you would have known you were wrong from the get. As it was an order to facilitate release not an order to facilitate return. And even though you didn't know what you were talking about you chose to argue anyways.

On what world does providing links to reports with they same false information you are arguing prove that what you are arguing correct?
It doesn't. No such world exists.

If you could have refuted the facts you would have.
You did not argue a fact. You made a claim that you could not and still can not prove is true, and as already pointed out, if you read the order of the Court you will find your assertion to be false.

Instead you ran away.
That is a lie on your part. Figures. It also clearly shows you do not know what running away actually is.

Posted in which post #?
Interesting. You are the one with the initial claim. That is on you to prove. Not on me to disprove it. And as I suggested you should get what the Court actually said. But of course you didn't. You returned with false reports.

Maybe next time you will listen when someone is telling you that your argument is wrong and that the reports you provided are false.
Or maybe think there was a reason that the person is telling you to get what the Court actually said. But, noooooooo, not you.
You just can't listen to good advice or accurate information.

Regardless. I told you shortly after the person provided the information that it had been provided. All you had to do was look a few posts back to find it. But noooooo, not you, so confident in your own idiotic arguments. iLOL
That is on you for not searching it out then when I told you it had been posted.

You posted no such thing and will run away and evade again instead of answering.
Yep, you clearly also do not know what running away is. And your failing to read all that has been posted is not on me, but is your failure.
Heck, I have even provided a link to the actual SCOTUS order in this thread. Which just shows you do not know what you are talking about or bother reading all that has come before. That too is all on you and no one else.

SCOTUS' order was to facilitate release, not to facilitate return. Have you got that yet?
Are you going to apologize to everyone for making such a bone headed argument after you were informed it was wrong?

Look, it is not difficult. At least, not for most. You replied to my post, but your reply had nothing to do with what i posted. I gather you did not intend to reply to my post.
Look, this isn't difficult. I respond the way I chose.
Your questions to me were irrelevant.
What I think the Court intended is irrelevant, as such is speculation, not factual.

You seem to be the most upset over this alleged wrongful Garcia incarceration. Do you know why you're upset Garcia can't get back to America? He's just one person who got swept up along with other tattooed thugs in the wrong place at the wrong time. Why is he so important to you?
Is he the latest Cause célèbre that the anti-Trumpers can use this week to hammer Trump and his Administration?

Gawd yes! The Dems ought to do that to show everyone just how ****ing stupid they are.
Demand another country send one of it's own citizens to us just so he can get deported right back to them.
Please do that Dems.

Seriously, @jaypatriot? You don't understand a person's empathy for the horrific plight of a person mistakenly renditioned - for an indeterminate amount of time - to a mega prison hellhole in a foreign country?

If you don't, that's sad.
Is he the latest Cause célèbre that the anti-Trumpers can use this week to hammer Trump and his Administration?
Read the above. This person should be a cause of concern for all of us. Remember, it could be one of us who is renditioned in this manner. Wouldn't you want Americans' sticking up for you, were you to be victimized in this manner?

More histrionics.

I actually feel kind of bad for the guy in this situation and have said as much. At his 2019 hearing he was denied asylum and that SHOULD have been the end of things but the judge at that time carved out a weird exception for him which left him subject for removal just not to El Salvador. When he was sent to El Salvador I'm willing to chalk that up to a legitimate mistake. It was unfortunate but I have no reason to believe it was intentional. Now that he's already been removed there isn't a whole lot that the administration can do. That's just reality. It makes no sense to blow up a plan that's working just because one removal went sideways.
First, it’s glaringly obvious that you do not feel the slightest bit bad for Garcia.

Second, the immigration judge didn’t carve out any “weird exception” when he granted Garcia withholding of removal status. The provision has been part of immigration law for 25 years.

Third, arguing that the guy was gonna probably be deported eventually anyway, so no biggy is complete bull shit.

Really ****ing shameful of you, @Lutherf.

Your white nationalist drivel and dumbass snark aside, any American should be angered on principle that anyone granted withholding of removal status by an immigration judge is illegally snatched out of his vehicle by ICE agents that, in their rush to lock up Garcia, called his wife and told her that she had ten minutes to come get their non-verbal autistic little boy or they were going to hand him off to CPS then, after being repeatedly told of his legal status refused to make the small effort to verify before illegally putting him on a plane to El Salvador.
