Edwards scared of FOX

Now _thats_ a crock.
Obama has already told FOX they aren't even going to have the chance to interview him, much less debate, after the episode that left their journalistic integrity hanging by a thread.
And its not hard to try to position yourself left of Hillary - all she's been doing for the past two years is pushing to be known as a moderate.

Hillary has you fooled but she does not fool any Moderate or Conservative......She is about as left wing as they come........

of course she is left wing to you Navy....I'm sure Ronald Reagan would be left wing to you. But in the reality of the political spectrum, Hillary is much more to the center than you would have people believe. But keep spinning.

Speakin' of crock. That's an alligator! :rofl

Brother, FOXNews has positioned themselves, and have made it clear as of late, that they are strictly a channel that caters to the right and their rightwing bias is known to all. That's pretty much something we can all agree on so let's get that out of the way.

Why, Bush would have a better chance of a fair shake on Air America than Edwards would have on FOX.

But, then again, maybe not. Let's say you're right....(hey, it could happen.)
Maybe FOX could actually pull of a "fair and balanced" debate as you say they have done in the past. Should he chance it? I mean, if they did offer a level playing field, it could only help him. But on the other hand, FOX viewers have the reputation of being idealogues and we all know that an ideologist is incapable of self-thought or a changing of views. So, what purpose would it serve to give those people your message. It would be much like pi$$in' up a rope.

I tell ya what. I will stay neutral on this issue for now and just keep an eye on it. And when Cheney or Bush debate on Air America, I will then criticise Edwards for not debating on FOX.

FOX hosted presdiential debates prior to the 2004 elections and like I said they cam off without a hitch.........How do you explain that my left wing friiend?

I seem to recall FOX being a tad more sensible in 2004. Or maybe they just hadn't had as long of a track record of being an off the hook rightwing GOP propaganda channel back then.

I think most folks, here in 2007, has FOX's number by now.

I know, you disagree. Appearantly, according to the poll on the "Is Fox Biased" thread, 1.7 out of 10 posters here agree with you. I see your numbers are improving my rightwing friend. :rofl

So yes she has you and many others fooled.

:rofl yes the number for them on their remote control!!!! Why do you think you see FOX News on so many TV's in resturants, hotel lobbies, airport waiting areas, etc. Because it's what people want to watch.

If you ACTUALLY believed that she doesn't have a chance of being elected, you wouldn't be running all over these boards posting whatever negative you can about her. Its a long time until the election and personally I haven't decided who I prefer at this point....but don't kid yourself, there are a lot of people with potential of being elected and the fact that you are posting attacks on Hillary illustrates that you consider her electable else why would you even care?

You can't be serious. As far as airports go it's CNN and the weather channel all day all the time. Have you even been in an airport lately?

I don't know why I have been unsucessful explaining the reality of FOX's ratings. I'll try again only this time I will type slower in case any O'Reilly fans are in the audience.

This is the simplest way I know how to explain it. In my city, there is a mosque (Islamic Center.) It is one of the largest and fanciest churches in town. Is that because that my town is majority Muslim? No. It's because it is the only mosque in town to cater to Muslims. There is a Catholic church on almost every corner in my town. It is predominantly Catholic. So, why is the mosque bigger and has more attendees? Because it's the only place for Muslims to gather?

The same goes for FOX. Numbers reflect that less that 30% of America subscribes to the hard rightwing conservative ideologies. And that number is shrinking daily thanks to Bush, Cheney, and the neocons (who just about turn everybody off.) Where can these people go to hear what they want to hear to validate themselves and their opinions? That's right. FOXNews. They gather there like maggots on rotting flesh. That is their port in the storm. That is their sanctuary. It's the only place they can go to get their news and opinions spoon fed to them seasoned as they like it. Just like the mosque, their numbers remain high and their coffers remain full. But they are, by far, the minority amongst the population as a whole.

Understand it now? Good. Sheeesh, you rightwingers. Sometimes I think yo' mama's dropped all of y'all on your heads when you were babies. No common sense whatsoever....

Absolutely.

Because they aren't based on reality but desperate attempts to dismiss them.

Don't bother until you back them up from an authoritative source and not your bias'd opinion.

Sometimes, I just wonder why I even bother..<shakes head.>

Some people 'round here, I tell ya..

If brains was sh**, they would even stink. I should be sad rather than frustrated with them I suppose.

It's like they are beyond de-programming and have slipped into Matrix land. I hope these people remember what happened to the Jim Jone's people when they drank HIS Kool-aid.

I'd like to see him log on here at DP and see if he could pass the muster! I've got at least 20 questions to ask him. None he is going to like!
