When a couple of days before that they were praising it.

After the BS madrassa ****, Obama and several others have told them to go to hell as well.

It was MoveOn.org that got Edwards to run away, now we know who he is catering to.

Man, I'd say the truth is somewhere in the middle. John Edwards has obviously made it a huge focus to avoid answering questions from anyone who doesn't already agree with him in the first place, but likewise Fox has gone with a lot of bullshit. John Edwards is a ***** regardless.

Would you prefer Edwards to pull a GWB with a townhall meeting of carefully selected participants and scripted questions, or would you like him to attempt to find a station like PBS, that doesn't have a proven track record of bias?

Edwards and the other dems who pulled from FOX have done nothing wrong.

To begin with, candidates dont know what questions are going to be asked to begin with, so how can he pull out on the basis of the questions?
And like I said, with the majority of his party, he pulled out. Get over it - it'd be like Bush appearing without transcripted questions and answers. Even when he came here to Peoria, they screened everyone that attended his tractor meeting for liberal beliefs.

First of all, even the radical left deserve to have their candidates. That's just how democracy works.

Desire to engage in a public debate has absolutely no condition that says you can't disapprove of the bias of the moderator. In this case, his exception is with Fox News. It can be the most watched news channel in history (hell I watch it daily) but that doesn't have any bearing on whether there is a clear bias or not.

Why, Bush would have a better chance of a fair shake on Air America than Edwards would have on FOX.

But, then again, maybe not. Let's say you're right....(hey, it could happen.)
Maybe FOX could actually pull of a "fair and balanced" debate as you say they have done in the past. Should he chance it? I mean, if they did offer a level playing field, it could only help him. But on the other hand, FOX viewers have the reputation of being idealogues and we all know that an ideologist is incapable of self-thought or a changing of views. So, what purpose would it serve to give those people your message. It would be much like pi$$in' up a rope.

I tell ya what. I will stay neutral on this issue for now and just keep an eye on it. And when Cheney or Bush debate on Air America, I will then criticise Edwards for not debating on FOX.
