I've noticed that I can neither delete nor edit posts that I made. I'm still a newcomer, and I was wondering if perhaps there's a time limit that if expired, I can no longer alter a post one way or the other. Or is it a form of restriction on my account? because I remember being able to alter my posts freely in the past.

There is a time limit but I think that you can ask for moderator assistance.

There is a short window.

Don't want to be editing posts after someone quotes you, you know. Then it looks dishonest.

Yea, it seems like it. For some reason, I thought my account was moderated or something.
