Doug Emhoff accused of ‘forcefully slapping’ NYC girlfriend

You're the only one implying that. I certainly haven't.
I see, so you don't consider that his conduct has any bearing on his (non-existent) campaign to get himself elected. That's nice to know.
Whoever that is isn't out campaigning as the prototype for "new masculinity" in an effort to get Kamala elected.
Exactly what something that may, or may not, have happened almost 20 years ago and which hasn't been documented by any actual witnesses has to do with the current situation I have absolutely no idea - possibly you could tell me how a rumor that cannot be verified is the same thing as **T*H*E** **T*R*U*T*H**?

PS - I know that this will come as a shock to you, but people do have a tendency to change as they grow older and what MAY have been true of someone when they were 2020 isn't necessarily true of the same person in 2024.

She's welcome to come forward and make her case.

If Emhoff assaulted her, he should be held accountable to whatever degree is still available ~15 years post the alleged incident.

🤷‍♂️

Are any Democrat cheerleaders denying that Kamala's hubby knocked-up the nanny?

Ime the choice of a mate is a good indicator of a person's ability to judge character..
Since it wasn't the nanny, yes it can be denied.

"Only men who run for public office should be called out for slapping women."🤡
And its fair to question Kamala's judgement relative to her husband.

This thread is really about how absolutely pathetic MAGAs are.

This shit spread around the internet yesterday, and like good little trained seals...now we see it here today.
Are you calling conservatives on this forum seals?

Who did he knock up?
A teacher at his kids' school, while he was separated (although not yet divorced) from his wife. She ended up having a miscarriage. But separation is still separation and there is a difference between a nanny and a teacher at the kids' school.

Indeed, however there are 'slight' difference between
  1. "A" says "'B' did 'X' to me.
  2. "C" says "'A' said 'B' did 'X' to them."
  3. "D" says "'C' said that "'B' said that 'A' did 'X' to 'B'."; and
  4. "E" says "'D' said that 'C' said that 'A' said that 'A' did 'X' to 'B'."
The first is what is known as "evidence".
The second is what is known as "hearsay".
The third is what is known as "double hearsay".
The fourth is what is known as "Counsel, do you really think that I am so dumb that I am going to allow that testimony?".

Mind you, in this case, the "strong case" is that both of the media outlets have turned off their "Click Bait Filters".
It's really weird to defend someone who gives multiple people reasons to say this about him.

No one is saying the guy should go to jail, just that he's probably kinda a loser who has slapped people around.

Why even bother defending this?

I thought the separation was due to the relationship with the teacher at his kids' school? And I agree that saying "nanny" makes it appear as though she was the kids' nanny, which is a whole other level of betrayal. That's Arnold Schwarzenegger level.

Nope. According to the two of them, they were already separated prior to the affair happening, but the affair basically was the point of no reconciliation at all, end of marriage entirely, from what I've read.

I don't have to "defend" what someone did decades ago to recognize that they have changed over time. That is known as "accepting reality".

The people who do not recognize that a person might have changed over the decades are known as fools.

Of course, if Mr Emhoff had said that he had repented and "taken Jesus into his heart" then the people who are slamming him now would be praising his "rebirth" because he had "found Jesus" and would be roundly condemning anyone who tried to raise what he had done before he had "seen the light and come to Jesus".

So now you're believe that he did these things?

Why, after your defense of him?
