Wednesday on Morning Joe, Trump finally gave a response to the question that Brzezinski has been dogging him with for nearly a month. Well, sort of. The first response out of his mouth was really quite telling, after Brzezinski asked yet again, “Who are you talking to consistently since we have some dire foreign policy issues percolating around the world right now?”

"I’m speaking with myself,” said the real estate mogul who dominated with Mega Tuesday primary wins in Florida, Illinois, and North Carolina. He continued, saying the following phrase verbatim:

"Because I have a very good brain and I’ve said a lot of things."

"and I've said a lot of things" Analysis: TRUE!

So, I know what I’m doing… my primary consultant is myself — at the appropriate time I’ll tell you who those people are,” he told Brzezinski.

"So, I know what I'm doing" Analysis: Not So Much.

Seems more reliable than the 33 people who were part of JEB! Bush's campaign. That one person is smart enough to know that arming "moderate rebels" is a ridiculous policy.

No wonder foreign leaders are so worried. Thank god trump will not win the general.

So, wait... his foreign policy advisor.... is himself!?

...God help us all.

Cowboy Trump at the start of the Tribulation (2020;) if he does well he'll lead through the Midtrib.

It's like the whole country's gone bananas and lost all reading comprehension:

Clearly indicates he's going to pick advisers.

Wait. Was part of that taken out or did he really say that his primary advisor was himself and he would tell us who those people are? He is multiple people!!!
That would explain a lot.

Indeed, much reading comprehension has been lost.

For example, the meaning of the words "Primary" and "Chief".

At this point in the game, it's clear he's doing zero prep work for actually being commander in Chief. Which is why he continues to be clueless about major foreign policy issues (well, about a lot, but those especially). Nor does he seem to think that this is a problem, or that he should care.

Hard to believe Americans are about to elect a President who will make Kim Jung Il appear to be a serious statesman.
You should not say bad things like that about Hillery!

At this point all we can hope for is a come-from-behind Cruz victory at the convention, or that (God save us) the current poll numbers hold.

If he is serious, and the answer is just not part of his rhetoric, I am starting to see why you are worried.

My comment took into account all the current possibilities for President - do you disagree with the characterization?

Other than Bernie, I don't think any of them hold a candle to Kim Jung Il.

I know one thing for certain, I'll be watching far less American news in the coming future - Obama turns my stomach, every time I see his pompous ass on the TV, and yet seeing Trump, Cruz or Clinton is equally, if not more so, nauseating and that's pretty damning. I haven't been tuning in lately for that very reason and just as I was looking forward to Obama being banished from the airwaves, the world is going to be stuck with one of these three self promoting imbeciles for the next four years. Kill me now.

I wish someone would get them all in a room and hold a candle to a short fuse.
I saw, last week where Kim Jung Il was saying he would nuke Washington,
with a bit of dark humor, I was thinking "He would do that for US, how nice!"

What's missing here, is the fact that Mr. Trump's followers don't support him because he has solutions, but rather they hope or believe he can find solutions and recruit people to help him to this effect. His stature and personal success & accomplishments lead many to believe in his abilities, rather than his platform specifics. This last item is accentuated by the fact that the specifics offered by competing candidates are thought to be hollow words which will never come to fruition, and that perception is largely accurate.

It's actually a pretty slick & novel approach, and no other Presidential candidate has been able to pull it off previously.

Now as to whether Mr. Trump will actually be able to provide solutions once in office, it remains to be seen; but his supporters believe he will and that's why he maintains a Party plurality, with the possibility to even become a majority.

The GOP establishment is too afraid of Trump to pull that off. Trump will run as an independent in a heartbeat.

That would be great. I would be so relieved if he did that.

It is such an incredible risk the voters seem to be willing to take. And to think it is happening just after the experience with it we just made doing essentially the same with Obama.

There is a vast difference between the President's CV when he first ran for office, and Donald Trump's CV.

The President brought little government experience, and it can be argued, no economic/foreign experience.

Like him, or not, Donald Trump has vastly more experience in many relative and important areas than Obama did at the time. I don't think such a comparison can be made.

Throughout the campaign he has stressed at what a great recruiter of talent he is and knows everyone. Even in that exchange he made the absurd claim "I will hire and extremely intelligent general" So all this time where he stresses HE doesn't have the answers, it has never occurred to him to start lining up those experts now?

Donald Trump doesn't have a clue how government is run. He is a simple may, wealthy enough, but not capable of handling the complexities of global politics.

Yes, but I don't see any severe problems with Obama except to me he could've gone a little further (for example single-payer or public-option healthcare).

Truth is: There's just not that much a President can do without Congress, so I don't overly worry.
