Donald Trump is crushing everyone in New Hampshire - Yahoo Finance

Real-estate magnate Donald Trump has opened up a 2-to-1 lead over his closest competition in the key, first-in-the-nation primary state of New Hampshire, according to a new poll from Monmouth University released Tuesday.

Trump grabs 24% of the vote, compared with 12% for former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush. Newcomer and Ohio Gov. John Kasich has already jumped into a third-place tie with Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker at 7%.

The poll is evidence that the controversy that surrounded Trump last week — when he questioned Sen. John McCain's (R-Arizona) military record — has not hurt his standing with Granite State voters. The Monmouth poll was the first to be conducted in the state entirely after those comments.

So...at what point does the GOP start to worry? They thought Trump was just a "flash in the pan"....not a real candidate. They were wrong. Considering the sorry weak lot of candidates that they had, everyone should have seen this coming.

Most excellent news!!!!! Let us hope that this continues all the way until the day after the GOP Convention next year.

The best part of all is that this is just continually feeding his ego which keeps him in the race longer and longer. I'm sure mainstream Republicans and those in charge of the party would love to see him flounder and fall...but it doesn't look like it is going to be happening anytime soon. This may actually be better than Sarah Palin.

So, here we have another rush poll of 467 "likely Republican primary voters" on top of the recent CNN poll of 419 "likely Republican and/or Republican leaning Independent voters" and the liberals rush to DP to post their glee that Donald Trump is going to win the nomination.

It is entertaining to watch and clearly the media knows the IQ level of those they're pandering to.

Exactly . And if the Donald can get such a kick out of trying for the GOP nomination, just imagine the thrill of running on his own third party ticket when he fails to get the nomination next summer.

only democrats seriously want this idiot to be the republican nominee. it isn't going to happen. however, i hope that at some point it actually looks like it's going to happen. at that point, i will bet my entire savings against it happening, and then i'll win a whole ****load of money.

I would love to have him get the nomination but I think that is not going to happen. Now what would make me really happy is a third party run with the Donald at the helm.

So I guess this means we should just cancel our primary in February and declare him the winner today. All the rest of them here should close up shop and go back home.

It appears that, like most of the rest of us, the people in New Hampshire are tired of political speech, scripted talking points, flexible positions and lies. I'm amazed that the other candidates haven't seen the light.

Go back through prior primary season in both parties... how many people who were leading 16 months before the election ended up on their party's ticket?

Since The Donald is a progressive liberal, a third party run for him would likely bleed off Hillary votes just as much if not more than Bush votes, as an example. And don't assume that The Donald would get the third party nomination - do you really think those who want to promote a third party option in the long run want Trump as their flag waver?

I personally believe that come the FOX News debate in August, the pretenders and contenders will make themselves known. Dems are deluding themselves if they think Trump can't beat Hillary. Trumps biggest hurdle is the GOP establishment, NOT Hillary. A monkey can beat Hillary in the general, frankly.

I grew up being told that in the U.S. anyone could become President. I'm beginning to believe that it's true.

Well, if Trump ran as a third party it would be a party of one. The Republicans wold be well served to let Trump run himself out and accept defeat. Pushing him out would just ensure a third party run.

Wanted: President. No previous executive experience necessary! Inquire within!

While that is true he along with the help of the media created the impression that he is some sort of conservative who will be tough on illegal immigration.

There's no way Trump will get the GOP nomination. But I am enjoying the damage he is doing to the GOP. The moderate voters, who always pick the POTUS are looking at the GOP and wondering WTF. How can someone like Trump be leading? Is the GOP base that crazy to put a person like Trump in the lead?

It is scary that there are that many crazies in the GOP to put this guy in the lead within their party. In the general election it means nothing, because he wouldn't stand a chance. But within his own party? It proves there's something seriously wrong in the GOP.

The GOP allowed and let these type of hate mongers flourish in the GOP for years. Now they are coming back and biting the GOP in the ass.

Who actually supports Trump for president? I haven't met an actual Trump for President supporter. Where are you people?

They have and they are trying to out-donald each other. That's why you have Huccabee claiming that Obama is "walking Israel to the door of the oven," and Rand Paul trying to defund Planned Parenthood and Ted Cruz calling Mitch McConnell a liar on the floor of the Senate.

And they all sound ridiculous.

Is this the truth when he said he identifies more as a democrat or that the economy sucks under a republican?
Donald Trump: 'I probably identify more as Democrat' - CNNPolitics.com

Is this the truth when he says he is for amnesty/legal status for illegals?
Donald Trump rounds out the week on Morning Joe | MSNBC

Is this the truth when he was supporting democrat candidates and donating to their campaigns and rich guys being able to use the government to take other poeple's property?
Vetting Donald Trump. Is He Really Conservative?

Was he lying when he said he wants a liberal as his running mate?

Was he lying when he sided with the terrorist dick suckers regarding the Pamela Gellar Mohamed cartoon drawing?(I noticed he does say anything when other religions are mocked)
Trump: I'm All For Free Speech, But Anti-Islam Cartoon Contest Was 'DUMB!'

Was he lying when he said he wants to take a chunk of the savings account of the rich to pay off the national debt?

15 years ago he was pretty liberal. But after all his birther nonsense, and his complete 180 to the TP side of every social issue you just keep believing and hoping that he will bleed off more Dems then Republicans in a general election. It's nothing but wishful thinking on your part.

He's got 25% of the Republican voters WHILE his running on the GOP ticket saying they will vote for him. As 3rd party nom in the GE he will do immense damage to the seen as a RINO by the TP Jeb Bush. The far right base of the GOP will abandon Bush in a heartbeat.

I'm really happy that Kasich has jumped up to third place so quickly. He's gotten no media attention at all.

Has it ever occured to you that his positions have changed? He's severely conservative now.

I'm really happy that Kasich has jumped up to third place so quickly. He's gotten no media attention at all.

Except for Chris Christie, Kasich is the only one running ads here in NH, and he has been for a few weeks. That's why he's in 3rd place. He will end up either 1st or 2nd by the time we hold our primary in 2016.

Trump is in the lead because he's in the news pretty much every day.

Exactly. I've lived in NH through 4 primaries (2000-2012), and this happens all the time. One day candidate x is in the lead, and then the following week he's gone and someone else is in the lead.

Kasich is in 3rd place, and I'm really glad. But he's in 3rd place because he is the only one running ads here except Christie, who just started running them. Trump's name is in the news every day, and his name pops into people's minds. The primaries have barely started here.
