Does it matter if Rachel Dolezal is black or white?

The statement was made that the NAACP helps all colors so I would like to know if they have ever given a scholarship to a white kid.

I didn't ask anything about other organizations.

Well if that is the case, then I guess that makes affirmative action moot. Because if anyone can change their gender or race, because of FEELINGS how can we grant special consideration to racial minorities and women?

Actually I think the left will "decide" who's authentic, based on their own emotions. If they feel it benefits them, they will support it.

I thought the statement was that the NAACP hires (and accepts as members) people of all colors. As they are required to by law.

Precisely. Racism isn't hatred or mean-spiritedness re another race. Hatred and mean-spiritedness is what it is regardless of its target. Racism is requiring one group of people to be identified and treated differently than other people. IMO even the most well-intended people are racist when they see a person's color as being significant re who that person is and most especially when he/she requires the ret of us to see the person's color as being significant.

We wouldn't even be having this discussion re Rachel Dolezal if racism was not so rampant in our culture and there weren't so many people demanding that it be that way.

I don't believe there was a ruling that said she made false charges - there was just not enough evidence to prove her allegations. Legally - that makes all the difference.

They are just getting started on that.

Providing false information on a government form, making a false police report and I am sure many more things.

By the way, the younger son leaving could be as simple as he wanted to live in Washington instead of where they were from. It doesn't mean there was anything wrong with the parents.
