Simple yes or no question.

Many Evangelicals like Mike Huckabee believe the U.S. should attack Iran to defend Israel. They frame it as a divinely guided act tied to the belief that such a conflict could help bring about the return of Jesus Christ.

Do you agree with this general idea that U.S. foreign policy should be guided by this predominantly Evangelical belief?

**** NO!

It is quite scary that a measurable portion of all three branches are fundamentalist Christian to the point that nuclear war in the Middle East would fulfill their religious fantasy of rapture.

I prefer the secular definition. AI generated...
In a secular context, "rapture" generally refers to a state of intense joy, pleasure, or ecstasy, often associated with a strong emotional response or a feeling of being overwhelmed by something delightful. It can describe a state of being carried away by strong emotions, whether it's a positive reaction to art, music, or an experience, or a more general sense of profound happiness and delight.

God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are too busy arguing about who is the one true god and how they can be one but separate and what the sex is of the holy spirit and whether it aligns with its gender and whether it even has a sex and gender since it's a spirit to worry about human affairs.

A BIG Hell NO!!! U.S. foreign policy should have nothing to do with personal religious beliefs, especially when it comes to the so-called "end-time events" written by prophecy guru's proven to be wrong thousands of times over the years.

What does Jesus say?

Guys like Huckabee say they know Jesus.

So call him up, get him on the prayer line and ask - "should we kill a few thousand Arabs and make the landscape uninhabitable today?

The levels of insanity required to think that what Jesus wants in order to come back is more warfare is really difficult to unravel.

Magical thinking like that is just about as dangerous as it gets.

Universal rationalization for any behavior you can come up with.

???

How would that even work?

No.

I support taking out Iran's nuclear capabilities to prevent a second genocide of Jews.

Mycroft, it doesn't work that way.

the Lord doesn't return until after Armageddon my friend.

before that, we will first fight WW three and then move into the Tribulation. when the Tribulation hits, christians will be gone.

there is no way to speed up the Return of Jesus Christ, at least from a Prophetic view point which is all that matters anyway.

carry on people and keep spreading the gospel to the ends of the earth; then we will leave and Go Home. not until then.

blessings.

this isn't 'magical thinking', however it is a good Prophetic question, of which the answer is a solid: No

we are only at the opening to WW three and have a lot of Prophecy to unravel before the end. kind of like gears in a machine and a desired outcome not happening until the Prophetic process happens.

we are still on Square one, scene one.

Willy, many people are interested in Prophecy. they have heard about it for years and may be on the fence whether they believe. a few out there will understand the world they live in, and resist the Mark of the Beast and the dark maga fascism slowly moving through the world today.

Mike Huckabee as with many of Trump's appointees is a dangerous person. His Christian Nationalist attitude may yet get a lot of people killed. Many, many people in the Gulf region and beyond, in Europe and in the United States are not evangelicals and as such most are not eagerly waiting for the day Jesus comes back. Most want to live.

Huckabee's politics are purely biblical.

There is a much to consider in this song. Maybe it depends on your perspective but there is a lot to consider. In many ways it applies to the Israel/Iran war.
