Do whites need to try harder to understand blacks?

So most LE officials are dying to abuse in some way or even kill a lovable Jamaican grandmother simply because she's black?

You apparently didn't read what was forwarded to you, or else you didn't understand it. That's a spurious conclusion. No one is arguing --in fact, I stated the opposite to you-- that every law enforcement/criminal justice worker is cartoonishly racist; but just because not every single criminal justice worker isn't a cartoonishly vile racist doesn't mean that there aren't subcultures of racism in local police forces (If you doubt this, you haven't read enough, e.g. read up on Ferguson). It doesn't mean that officers don't make operational assumptions about black people, it doesn't mean that they don't have cognitive biases (e.g. most officers believe that blacks are 8 years older than they actually are), and it doesn't change the fact that blacks are sent to jail wildly disproportionately and sentenced more harshly than whites for nearly every crime.
