BULL
SHIT
I booked an appointment with my GP yesterday, saw him within two hours, got an appointment for blood work and did that this morning....will have the results tomorrow in the afternoon.
I am nearing 80, have three heart conditions, am diabetic and have been unmedicated for 13 years! I walk daily and am in better health than any average American...since the "average" American is 20 lbs overweight.
My friend in Ohio, a veteran of the United States Air Force was diagnosed diabetic the same week I was. She died five months later while waiting to see a diabetic specialist.
It's the ONE disease we will all get if we live long enough and the US can't even get primary care out of the gate.
Your medical system is Rolls Royce cost and Ford Pinto performance.
Your anecdotes are irrelevant. The long wait times are documented. Six months to get treated if government decides you're not a priority.
Americans with PPO coverage don't even need a referral. So you have to wait to see a doc, wait to see the specialist, then wait for treatment. By the time you've gotten your treatment said Americans have recovered.
