yes, but that's been known. This sort of blind hyperpartisanship occurs on both sides. The problem, when it comes to Trump, is that he says so many things that are just ridiculous and unfounded. So Damage Control mode is pretty much a 24/7 thing, whereas other politicians may step in it from time to time, maybe even frequently, but not constantly. So we see a lot more of the blind hyperpartisan behavior with Trump than others.

But if Trump was a D instead of an R somehow, all the outrage and arguments would be reversed. It's what happens when there's no consistency or integrity left.
