Joe hasn't done any damage.I can’t stand the guy, but the real devil here is the Democratic Party’s inability to muster any balls to tell Joe, he’s done enough damage and it’s time to step aside.
Neither are leftists.Just as there’s few republicans with the balls to stand up to Trump. There’s a distinct possibility that the Republicans, if Trump wins, may gain control of both houses because of Joe. There’ll be whining and wailing and million woman marches on DC, the NYT, WAPO, MSNBC, PBS, etc. will go into meltdown mode. All of them will point fingers at the Racist/Facist white NAZI America. But blame Joe and Kamala for the leftist dog and pony show.
Excellent article. Thanks for bringing it here.I wasn't going to post about this but I couldn't let it go. This was in "The Washington Post" today. It doesn't belong in the "Breaking News" forum since it is an opinion piece. It is also behind a paywall so many people would have trouble gaining access to it. But I didn't want to read it and fail to mention it on Debate Politics because I found it so chilling. I wanted to know if other members had also read it and what they thought about it.

The funniest part about this article is that they thought putting Trump's mouth on a bust of Caesar was an "own".I wasn't going to post about this but I couldn't let it go. Yeah, okay. Whatever you say.Joe hasn't done any damage.
Neither are leftists.
Joe Biden is doing a great job for America. What are you talking about?I can’t stand the guy, but the real devil here is the Democratic Party’s inability to muster any balls to tell Joe, he’s done enough damage and it’s time to step aside. Just as there’s few republicans with the balls to stand up to Trump. There’s a distinct possibility that the Republicans, if Trump wins, may gain control of both houses because of Joe. Yeah, okay. Whatever you say.Joe Biden is doing a great job for America. What are you talking about?
How are they defining dictatorship? I can't see any process by which he remains president after 4 years. Do they mean dictatorship until the next election?
I am stupid then. Trump talks like a dictator. My concern is that if re-elected, he won’t have some of the people around to restrain him this time. What will attempt restrain him will be the American people, who will rise up to protest what he tries, the armed forces who will resist attacking us, and the courts which hopefully this year will punish him. It's hyperbole. The point is to scare you. But it's absurd. If Trump gets elected he'll serve his four years and be fine just like the last round.
To think he wants to be a dictator is stupid.
Just trying to set the record straight, is all.Yeah, okay. Whatever you say.
Whatever.Just trying to set the record straight, is all.
Joe Biden is doing a great job for America!
That's the same reason I'm here.Just trying to set the record straight, is all.
At least gman stands corrected.Joe Biden is doing a great job for America!
This is just scaremongering to try and get Democrat voters to be enthusiastic about your corpse of a candidate.I am stupid then. Trump talks like a dictator. What will attempt restrain him will be the American people, who will rise up to protest what he tries, the armed forces who will resist attacking us, and the courts which hopefully this year will punish him.
But tell me, what was your reaction when Trump said he would do torture worse than water boarding, when he says we should kill the wives and children of terrorists, when he pardons soldiers our own military wanted to prosecute for murder, when he once again refused to accept the results of an election that displeased him. I have asked and asked these questions of Trump supporters and never get answers.
Trump certainly did try to get around the Constitution after his loss in 2020. He put pressure on the VP to send the electoral votes back to the States, and there where schemes from the WH to send fake electors to DC.Some liberals are feigning fear of a dictatorship under the Honorable Donald John Trump.
He could not be a dictator if he tried.
The American system of government is full of safeguards that prevent that.
When President Trump asked for troops to patrol D.C., the Pentagon told him to go pound sand.
When it was feared that besieged President Nixon might use the troops to stay in power, his Secretary of Defense told all generals to ignore any orders from the President.
I have read that the Washington Post is in serious financial straits.
That's great news!
Besides, if there ever is a dictatorship (such as a president unilaterally forgiving college loans!), it will be under a "Democratic" president and Congress. Maybe in 2025.
So you have no answer, no problem with Trump supporting torture and war crimes? This is just scaremongering to try and get Democrat voters to be enthusiastic about your corpse of a candidate.
Be Trump the old-fashioned way then you don't have to cheat and pretend that everybody that opposes you with some sort of dictator.
When you lie like this it drives more people away.
Does he also eat babies and kick puppies? So you have no answer, no problem with Trump supporting torture and war crimes?
I heard that he only eats babies if they're done medium, and on a bun with special sauce.Does he also eat babies and kick puppies?
I wouldn’t put it past him.Does he also eat babies and kick puppies?
So he's your boogeyman. You aren't credible.I heard that he only eats babies if they're done medium, and on a bun with special sauce.
As for puppies, kicking isn't personal enough, and it might spoil the shine on his shoes. I suspect he drowns them, holding them underwater until he feels their little lives leave their bodies.
At least he seems that way to me.

Only if there's a buck in it for him. Otherwise, why would he do it?Does he also eat babies and kick puppies?
So he's your bogeyman. No I don't believe your mythology. Manipulate someone dumber.I wouldn’t put it past him.
What’s the Trump dictatorship going to do that’s so chilling? 2.65 a gallon gas? Low inflation? Real wage growth?I wasn't going to post about this but I couldn't let it go. This was in "The Washington Post" today. It doesn't belong in the "Breaking News" forum since it is an opinion piece. It seems like you’ve spent a lot of time imagining what it feels like to drown small animals, why is that?I heard that he only eats babies if they're done medium, and on a bun with special sauce.
