I would submit that you are wrong.
Audible gasp

The book, co-authored by Cheney's daughter Liz Cheney, contends that Obama has abandoned a decades-long tradition of American global leadership. In a statement issued by Threshold, a conservative imprint of Simon & Schuster, the former vice president said Obama had "significantly diminished" U.S. power at a time of a "rapidly growing" terrorist threat.

If you had somebody who, as president — who wanted to take America down. Who wanted to fundamentally weaken our position in the world, reduce our capacity to influence events. Turn our back on our allies and encourage our enemies, it would look exactly like what Barack Obama is doing. I think his actions are constituted in my mind are those of the worst president we’ve ever had. - Dick Cheney

Laugh all you want......it's the truth.
Much to your credit!!!
Nope. Why do you folks always twist peoples' words around and inject words and ideas not in evidence? Why is that?
But you are a liberal..........if to submit is your thing....go right ahead on it.I would submit that you are wrong.
Book or no book ... the man's right on all counts ... and he sure knows how to get Denzel's fans all in a tizzy.
 This is really old news. Obama abandoned the historical US international leadership role the day he entered the office.
And look at the mess in the ME that this power vacuum allowed to fester. Just imagine how different the ME situation would be had the SoF for Iraq and Afghanistan been successfully executed. ISIS either wouldn't or would be much smaller. Iran wouldn't be engaged in it's proxy wars, and be the next regional power. Heck, there may not even be the up coming ME nuclear arms race. Yemen government might yet be in power rather than the mess there.
All in all probably saving thousands or 10s of thousands of lives that are now being slaughtered by ISIS.
Yeah, this'll be what the leftists will call a 'successful' foreign policy, which really hasn't been anything but erratic, unpredictable and inconsistent.
You wouldn't recognize the truth if an 18-wheeler load of it ran over you, hit its brakes, backed up, and ran over you again.
Just saying.
I would have thought Dick Cheney would have better ways to spend his remaining time on earth than this kind of thing. It would be the greatest gift, in my view, if all people who serve as Presidents and Vice Presidents, upon leaving office, took a vow of silence, similar to President GWB, and only spoke on issues with the current holders of the office, only when asked, and only in private. The Presidency is easily the most difficult job on the planet and sniping from the cheap seats helps no one.
Then what is your comment supposed to mean?
Wow, here's news. Democrats are more isolationist than Republicans.
It means exactly what I said it means. Look up the word influence. When you see a wrong, do you just act like a NYer and shut up...and say nothing? Or.....do you do what is right and speak up?
There are plenty of wrongs in the US that we haven't fixed. We should focus on that.

And plenty that the voters created by voting for Obozo!

Yes he is. He has obama pegged for the disaster that he is...
Because leftists are total idiots it seems.
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! And you would? :lamo
Do the democrats who helped authorize it have to kick in their share?Cheney and his buddies owe the USA 3 trillion dollars for starting a war that accomplished nothing (except nice profits for their cronies)

Iraq was not a disaster, the US was doing some very good things over there. After we were forced to leave early, by the girlie men and bimbos on the Left, who constantly tried to undermine the Bush Administration and sway public opinion......that is when things changed!Anyone who thinks that Dick Cheney, one of the architects of the U.S. disaster in Iraq, has any connection to the truth, is totally out of touch with reality.

Is you crazy? Cheney is Darth Vader. He prints dirty money in his basement to fund his purchase of third world children he eats. He must be made to pay. Democrats are desperate now though, and will accept even Green Stamps as payment - as long as a statement of guilt accompanies the contribution.

Meh.
Iraq was stable until Obama couldn't be bothered to achieve a SoF agreement with Iraq, and started pulling troops out. This perceived power vacuum gave rise to ISIS, which has only grown in size, boldness, and viciousness. The same can be said for Afghanistan.
So Obama starts talking and lifting sanctions on Iran, and they've come to be a regional power exporting terrorism and supplying them.
From my figuring, that's three strikes on Obama, so the mess, as it's become and grown, is pretty much all his making, due to his chaotic foreign policy of retreat and leaving power vacuums for others to fill.

G.W. Bush helped Shia Iran by removing the Sunnis from power in Iraq and replacing them with the current Shia regime. At the same time he created ISIS by killing and marginalizing many thousands of the Sunnis in Iraq, whose relatives and fellow tribesmen are now looking for some payback.
Dick Cheney should write a book about all that, but he'd rather pretend that it didn't happen.
