I always got a chuckle out of DiAnna's sharp wit (and equally sharp owl talons) in the place-that-must-not-be-named. I didn't have occasion to post directly to her but I remember her liking one of my posts. I don't recall the content except that I quoted Andy Dufresne from Shawshank Redemption, "Get busy living or get busy dying." I remember that because she always impressed me as someone who was busy living. Now that she's completed that journey, may she rest in peace.
 
I'm super sad to hear this. Last I talked to her in PMs a while back she had said her health wasn't good. I've known her for a very long time. She and I used to be mods at another, now defunct, political forum. I started posting there in 2004 and she was already a poster there. She was super easy to talk to and just a very sweet person all around. I'll miss you DiAnna.

I just learned of this. My heart aches, as hers was such a strong and good one. She served this forum with integrity and humor. May she rest in peace. ☮️

I just saw this thread, I had no idea. I haven't been around much in the last few years. Your mom was a friend to me here, very kind, but, also wouldn't take any crap from me or anyone else. But she never put me in my place unless I completely deserved it. I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing. My belated, heartfelt condolences to you, and your family and friends.
